She is not flexible at all. You do it exactly like she says or you lose points and she does not accept late work for any reason. She uses too many attachments instead loading pages into the actual Canvas program which makes it difficult to keep things straight.

Frequently unreasonable. For example, insisting 90 degrees can only be interpreted as rotate right 1/4 turn. Grossly inappropriate grade weights. Word project, a single typo on a 4 page project is automatic D- because mailability is most important thing. But if you proofread something she didn't intend (mind reading only way to know) is also a D-

This class is a 1.5 unit class and she not only gives out a ton of homework but is a very tough grader. One mistake you get a 6/10. If you ever have to email her about the homework she is super rude. Each week it's completing a chapter plus 5-8 assignments, homework questions, a quiz, and a discussion question response (8 hours appx). Do not take!

I would never recommend this professor, she doesn't teach to help students learn. I am an excellent student, love to be challenged and learn from it. This professor did not challenge me to learn, but she did give 3 separate sheets for instruction on 3-4 homework (time consuming), loved to give no credit for assignments due to minor mistakes

the first online i have ever taken and she made it the worst experience! i had trouble with CATE and i emailed her serval times for direction and help and she only replied ONCE saying she did not respond by email! VERY UNHELPFUL, RUDE, TEACHER!!! On top of all that she gives out WAY too much work like if i didn't have other classes or family!

Kathryn is very strict and expects you to meet her expectations. I found that you can only please her if you are very upfront and less vague about something. Make sure you go to her knowing the answer to your question because she expects you to know and will talk down on you if you don't.

I took three classes with Prof Boyett over Summer and I found her to be thorough and clear. You must show up and you must pay attention. If you can't pay attention, you can look at your handouts that she passes out on the course information and her webpage. Stay on schedule too, it's really easy to fall behind in typing.

She teaches so much At the beginning I didn't like it because she have a high expectations from students, but at the end it is worth it. I got an A and I work hard the assignments are time consuming, but in real life you have to be cero mistakes or you are fire!!!! She looks mean the way she talks, but she is a wonderful human being.

She is a terrible teacher. This class is way to intense and face paced for a beginning typing course. She is very rude and strict. Not helpful at all. Hard to get an A in her class. Would NOT recommend. Find another typing teacher who is willing and wants to help!!

This teacher is not helpful at all. The classwork might be easy, she doesn't clarify the assignments until the day you turn things in. She also just gives straight busy work... useless. It feels like you are doing the same assignment in 5 different ways. She marks you down on cover sheets, not the work you put in.

Kathryn is strict and if u don't do what she asks she will open a can on u. About half the time she looked angry. Her class is fairly simple however the timed writings were a pain since they were time consuming. Overall it's a easy class. As long as u do what she tells u to do u should be fine.
