Took AP1 and 2 with him. Going to class is ESSENTIAL as what he SAYS and Writes on the board will be in the tests. I think he purposefully does not write everything on the board to make sure people are actually listening. All in all not a bad class. I would take classes with him again.

I took Professor Holden's Bio class in January of 2001. I feared since I was always a CC+ student in high school that's what I was going to get...I was wrong! I ended up with a B. We had no projects, just labs and a few tests. They weren't super hard, they were definitely based on notes in the class. He was a good Bio teacher.

His class is all lecture,which sucks because he is extremely dull. The class is just tests which he gives you no study guide for. We just lecture again in lab and he leaves randomly for 20 minutes at a time. Seriously don't take him! I wish someone told me because I wasted so much money on this class.

I took A&P I & II with Prof. Holden. Show up to all classes, take good notes and follow his study guides if you want to do well. Tests are exactly what he says they'll be. Knows his stuff but can be repetitive. Doesn't use the textbook much but lab book is essential. I highly recommend him if you really want to learn the material.

I enjoyed professor Holden's class. He tells you exactly what will be on the exams. Write down everything he says, study the notes, and you will do very well. Like any A&P class the material is extensive and there is a lot of memorization. Class is mandatory because the notes are so important. I would definitely take his class again.

Prof. Holden is an excellent teacher. He really knows the material and explains it well. His tests are difficult, but if you study your notes you will do well. I would definitely take another class with him. I learned a lot and enjoyed the class.

He's a great teacher, really knows his stuff. His class is hard and his tests are killer. No, he doesnt really tell you whats exactly on his tests, but he does tell you to study it all. Labs were better in A&P1 but I think that's because theres no more fetal pig dissection in 2. Dont take his class if you dont want study hard.

VERY hard professor. Explains things really well though. Tests are extremely difficult. Lab was the hardest because he didnt really tell you what you needed to look for he just drew some pictures on the board. Very nice man but i wouldnt take his class again for my GPA's sake.

Very straight forward...know your stuff inside and out for the tests which are hard but if you put in the time you'll do well. Not helpful in lab...he leaves for like an hour and doesn't really answer your questions very well. Lab practicals are HARD!

he's a good teacher. he knows what he's talking about. but the exams are pretty hard. you have to study a lot and make sure you understand everything inside and out or you won't do very good. almost impossible to get an A, and he will tell you that.

Great professor! This guy knows everything and can explain it in a way anyone can understand. His tests are challenging, but if you study you will get a good grade. I would definitely take a class with him again. He's also just an all around nice man with a great sense of humor.
