Incompetent, asinine, *unbearably* boring. Spends half the class talking about his personal life. The photography part of the class consisted of some powerpoint slides which he read out loud to us. Lots of the information was inaccurate (he is computer illiterate, this was digital photography), with few intelligible explanations...

Boring, pedantic, redundant, uninspiring. Avoid if possible. Once you get through his first month of dribble, the class becomes tolerable. I stuck with it because I needed the credits but he did a disservice to one of my passions...

Comment:

Mr Pickard is a great teacher. He built a strong foundation on photographic technique and processing. My only quibble was the misspelling of student names on the class website. Almost every student in class turned out exceptional work.
