Larry is very intelligent.Really knows how to write.Is a very fair grader.Once you get to know him,you'll understand he is nice guy and cares about his students.Class discussions tended to be a bit bizarre,but overall a good teacher.Recommended

Larry knows writing inside and out.At first I thought he was going to be real strict and super tough grader,but i was completely wrong.If you're a solid writer,you can do very well in his class.Larry was very helpful.He is very opinionated,as others have said he is very "left wing".But other than that he was great,very smart and a real fair grader.

Was in his section for Writing for Lawyers. I'm not sure if we ever wrote the way lawyers will but he was a funny guy. Went beyond his call of duty to help and to make our lives slightly stress free. Encouraged our writing and thinking out of the box. As an law professor he should teach undergrads!

Larry was GREAT! Totally honest when it comes to your writing abilities, but is more than willing to help strengthen them. He is a little odd, but if you have him for WFL, TRUST ME...You are very lucky. I learned a lot from him

Larry is a truly great guy--if you are into left wing nuts!!! He's left of Ted Kennedy (if that is even possible). At times he can be very verbous, but all-in-all he's a pleasant man. Just don't ever question his grading style. Oh and the stories, need to be lest long-winded.

I got a kick outta the guy and think he made me a better written Too bad I only got a C+ in the class. I'm not sure that was his fault though, the whole writing program for the 1st year was horrible. Probably why the require it, no one would take it otherwise!!
