He was the easier English teacher I have ever had. Although he is very wild with the way her words things, he is a really amazing professor. I miss taking his class.

Professor Cavallaro is a insightful man on many things. English Comp one is not one of them, one thing that made me particularly upset was that he did not appreciate the puns and terms I would use in order to liven up my essay. I felt as though every time I tuned in my essay back with the revisions I made i lost bits of my own voice. Nice prof

Lenny is a great professor. If you actually want to learn how to properly write a paper than take his class. He takes his time to correct every sentence on every paper and gives really good feedback. All you need to do is go home, make the corrections and learn from your mistakes . By the end of the semester your papers will improve greatly.

He has a peculiar way to teach. I've been in NECK for about two years and i've never seen a teacher that cares so much about TEACHING. He goes further than grading papers, he actually teach the proper way to make one. If you are trying to learn and step up your writing I recommend him 100%, but be prepared to hear from him the ugly truth.

Mr. Cavallaro definitely has favorites. His lectures are extremely long & boring. I go to tutoring for extra help, & although I get the help it seems as if my papers aren't good enough for him. I don't understand his grading method nor does the tutoring professor. He doesn't really help to understand what you're doing wrong on your papers.

I don't like literature, but Lenny made it interesting. He's the type of man who makes one think about the readings he assigns. The class was easy, because he marks essays and allows the students to completely rewrite them for a better grade. He's a smart, and funny man; He's the best professor I've ever had. I highly suggest you take his class!

An amazing teacher. He actually knows what he's talking about, and makes things very easy for the class. He can be very blunt, and put students on the spot, but I still enjoyed being in his classes. I'm currently in his 102 class, and I'm glad to have him as a teacher again. I'm probably getting an A, once I'm finished with this course.

Lenny was rude at the beginning of the course, but warmed up eventually. His class is boring, but easy! He gives you chances to revise your paper after he corrects them and his reviews before exams basically let you know exactly what would be on them.

Professor Cavalaro is overworked and underpaid. His knowledge,experience, and commitment to his work is tremendous. If you want the best eduacation for your money select Professor Cavalaro. He has respect for the English language. And a deep compassion against racism that comes across in his lectures. Dramatic reader of literature and poetry.

I had Lenny for English Comp 101 and it was an accelerated course. This was my first college course and I honestly learned quite a bit. It's hard not to do well because he lets you revise your papers after he has corrected them, and he tells you exactly what will be on an exam. I found the course with him intriguing and fun.

I took Lenny for English comp 101. I hardly went to class &left early. I was allowed to revise my papers a lot. However I took English comp 102 with him &he dropped me from his class because I tried not going like I had before. He's rude &thinks he knows EVERYTHING. He also has favorites which is kind of weird.

Lenny is a very good, knowledgeable, intelligent, and eloquently spoken professor. I think he would be more suited in a private university making more money, honestly. You either love him or you hate him. He has a very specific personality. Extremely easy class though, he tells you everything that you need to know, and goes over it before tests.

This professor everyone can live without. He is rude and talks with food in his mouth. I find him a know it all and someone you can't approach because of that. He has been of no help to me and if I ever get him again I'll transfer out until another class becomes available. Get him and be prepared to listen for two hours of nothing.
