shes fine with in class instruction if you can read cursive however her testing standards are unfair denying students formulas and journal entries which she expect you to remember by the gross. the book she uses has very few example problems to reference, every week instruction quiz and test along with written and electronic gives extra credit

This professor wants to see you succeed! If you go to class and pay attention to the lecture and ask questions you will pass. She gives you some homework but not too much. And there isnt that many tests. She does a lot of examples on the board in class, which is super helpful. She also lets her students ask questions and discuss the problem.

Bolduc expects that you know three chapters ahead of the class at all times. She knows her stuff, but I struggled because if I were to ask a question, she would say, "Really?" and rant about how it was in a previous chapter. She's sweet, but if the entire class is struggling, maybe that's a sign to teach differently. Totally BUY THE BOOK!

Mrs. Bolduc was a good instructor. What I did not like is she required the class to MEMORIZE so much. It was very hard taking her tests. Overall though, she is willing to help you learn and pass on her accounting high.

shes fine at teaching her subject if you come to class but her testing standards are unfair requiring you to memorize how each statement is set up in multi step problems as if any human being could remember that. students should have the right to have their notes example problems and formulas in front of them during the test thats her problem

Only the second week in of school and I already have an C never had a C in my life but the first couple of homeworks I have to work on it for 3 hours or more with so many notes so I advise you to carry lots of notebook paper

Don't expect answers to your questions without a sarcastic remark. I've done very well in all of her classes but I give myself all of the credit. Don't expect an easy A from her. She expects you to memorize every bit of information for the test. When asking a question in class the response I got was "Look back at your notes, we JUST went over it"

I took Accounting 101 online thinking it would be easy to pass. If you have never taken accounting before, I would advise not to take this class online. I struggled trying to get through this class and had to have help from another person who had taken it before. Memorizing your book and even taking pictures of examples are a must.

Prof. Bolduc went above and beyond to help set me up with appropriate tutoring & met with me in her office during hours that suited my schedule. Yes, she is 'old school' and yes she expects you to absorb the material hence the idea of college. I took 3 classes with her. She is a true educator through and through. Tough but fair. You will learn.

I took Computerized Accounting on campus but this is a totally self-directed class that could be taken online. Prof. Bolduc has a basic familiarity with QuickBooks so she wasn't a huge source of information. She was very responsive and tried to be helpful though. Don't waste your $ on the access code. You won't use it!

This was my second class with Prof. Bolduc. She knows Accounting and is sincerely interested in sharing this knowledge with her students. She's not a dynamic lecturer but she gets the point across. If you don't speak up and ask questions, she won't go over something repeatedly. This is great if you catch on readily. Good class!

Prof. Bolduc is a very sweet woman, however, she teaches a bit too quickly. Therefore, you need to read your book to understand what she taught in class.

Prof. Bolduc is old school, but she's very good at what she does. Very receptive to questions and available outside class. When I had a question related to my major, she contacted all the right people on a Sunday and helped me rectify the problem the next day (Monday). Her tests are fair and grading is clear. Taking 2 of her classes next semester!

I am genuinely surprised that so many people liked this teacher. I did Managerial in class and ACC101 online . You will do great if you know absolutely everything about Accounting and have no questions. If not, then you will be confused as you teach yourself, receive sarcastic answers to your questions, and have to memorize the book 100%.

I had Prof. for two classes. Yes, she can be quite the pain when it comes to specifics, but if you show interest in her class and approach her when you need help she will give it to you. Honestly, she is a tough professor. Realistically though, in her class I have learned so much and in many other classes I have not.

I am a straight A student and Linda Bolduc's class was tough. I got a C average in it. She just expects you to get the material, if you don't she wont help you at all. She does know her material but she will give you sarcastic remarks if you ask questions. Oh fun fact she is the only Accounting professor for all 3 classes.

Linda Bolduc is a nice older lady. Her class is very "middle school"-like along with Her grading. Her tests are long and she wants you to remember the formulas AND every entry name and title. She often scoffed at the questions we asked and two or three times answered in a sarcastic manner.
