She's a really good teacher although she's really strict. she tells you what she wants to see in your paper. Just listen to her instructions and do what she wants, refer to her guidelines/marking scheme for every essay and see her at the writing center as much as possible, and finally be there for every class. she recognizes effort so do your best!

Professor Thomas is a very knowledgeable woman who likes to challenge her students to be the best writers they possibly can be. She will not give you answers, but re-words things to make you understand it yourself. If you do what is asked of you and make a valiant effort, you will pass this class. If you are struggling, ask for help.

You can pass this class, even with an I.Q. of 40, if you do one thing. Know when she is at the writing center, AND GO THERE EVERY CHANCE YOU HAVE. I barely scrapped an "A" in her class, but I really learned a lot. If you're willing to put some effort into this class, then I really recommend it.

Thomas is helpful and really cares about her students. I have learned so much in this class and have become a lot better writer. You only have four essays and the days you have to turn in your rough draft you don't have class except for the first essay. There isn't very much reading or research, but a lot of writing. Take her!!

She's an extremely good teacher. LISTEN TO WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY. HER CRITICISM MEANS EVERYTHING. If you follow her guidelines, you will pass. When you go to the writing center, make sure she's the one who looks at the drafts of your essay. When she reads your essay, she will tell you, exactly, what you need and don't need.

As long as you do the work she assigns you're going to get a good grade. She's a great teacher that tries to help her students to learn how to write. The people that left bad comments for Ms. Thomas are probably lazy people that never tried. Take her advices seriously and go to the writing lab. Don't let others scare you away from her.

Thomas is strict when she needs to be.Attendance is a must in her class! As well as visiting the writing lab! She is helpful and clear when asks for things. In WR 201 Prof. Thomas finally taught me what I failed to learn in high school - how to write. She also really helped me in WR 180. Students who want to take their writing classes at Saddleback don't really want to learn how to write - they just want to get an easy grade. Later they will fail at the university.

Linda Thomas is a great writing teacher. She is kind of hard. She will tesch you how to write a good paper and prepare you well for writing 2. If you dont like her its b/c you dont like to do any work. She doesn't criticize people, she critiques their work. She want everyone to become better at writing. The reading is good too.

Professor Thomas only seems to like the students in her class who do well, and she makes the students who don't do well feel stupid and pretty much not worth helping. I don't reccomend this teacher if you aren't a good writer, and will need help from her.

Great teacher. She actually TEACHES you how to write! Her advice is very helpful. She is very organized and is strict on tardiness and absences. And make sure you bring your txt books everyday. She let's you know what she expects from you and quizzes are fair. I would definitely recommend her.

Professor Thomas is really articulate and precise when it comes to proofreading your papers in the Writing center Lab. She may come across as kind of harsh,,, but really she hlps u 2 really write & do it 4 urself! I like this energy from her, she is direct.
