Dedicated teacher. Whoever says Liza Folman is not a great teacher is crazy. I studied with her for 3 years, she was always incredibly helpful and helped me to develop my individual concerns and improve my work as a whole. To those complainers present, you sound very whiny and lazy if you ask me.

teach finds one person in each section that she teaches and makes them the scapegoat. while she does not attempt to help that individual she uses them as an example to the class as what not to do. Usually this student is working to themselves with alternative process, and Liza's personal get in the way of original creations.

I agree with comment above. she's alright if you want to kiss ass. she makes some good points but can definitely be a ****. she's pretty strict with a lot of things, it's her way or the highway. sometimes it feels like she should be teaching a kindergarten class. i'm definitely not a huge fan, she's okay, but i'll probably try to avoid her classes

Liza?best teacher I've had thus far. Would have been lost in Intaglio II w/o her.Very constructive criticism but in a nice way and is always willing to help a student succeed. She has something good to say about everyone's work. Makes a mildly hard subject(printmaking)enjoyable. There may be times when you doubt her advice but she knows her stuff
