Meh...She is a nice woman, but she has a slight mid-western accent mixed with a high voice that is like nails on a chalk board to me. She is a fairly easy grader with barely any work throughout the class. If you can survive the boredom, I'd say take her class...bring your iPod or something.

She is so ABSOLUTELY BORING. I took a class with her and failed by 2 points. I’m not the one to blame professors for me not doing well in a class, but I just did not get what she was trying to teach. This semester I retook the class with someone else and I’m pulling a B+. So my advice is if you want to pass the first time around don’t take a class

Lori needs to get a T.A. she is constantly giving out assignments, but never handing anything back, so we never know how we are doing in the class! It's not fair, and makes her look overwhelmed and unprepared... why should we bend over backwards to do the work, when she's clearly not even grading it

Boring, but helpful. She's really sweet and really nice, but her voice is too weak. If you can pay attention to her everyday- kudos to you cuz you'll understand the material much better. She'll usually give you a study guide before each test.

ABSOLUTELY BORING. granted i was a slacker and a bum the first time i took it, but i'm going great in intro to hum with eliz. lori is just too soft spoken a person teaching in the morning, she also has this throat clearing annoyance. she can be helpful
