I loved this art history class with Marc! It's a very interesting class and Marc is caring and will let you edit your papers. However, there are a ton of papers to do, so if that would be a challenge for you then I don't recommend this class.

Marc is a very interesting person. He has so much knowledge about so many things and he has literally traveled the world for his love of art. The only problem I had in this class was the amount of essays. Atleast 2/wk due to how he hands out separate readings for you to write your opinion about. Study your artists/architects. Lecture heavy evryday

Great person, difficult professor. LOTS of reading, get ready to think about life like "When was the last time you felt most alive" I was surprised to get an A- in the class. My psychology class was easier than this one.

So. Many. Essays. It's really hard to stay on track when the syllabus doesn't have all of the assignments that are due, and some of the dates are wrong. The assignments were a bit difficult. I also wish the class was on blackboard so I could keep track of my progress.

Marc is great about giving you room to be creative, and he grades mostly based on the fact that you've done the project and given your best effort and put thought into it, not that it's the best work he's ever seen. He's got a couple assignments that are a little tricky but for the most part, it's a very therapeutic class.

Marc is one of my favorite professors. He truly is one in a million. He has a vast wealth of knowledge that goes far beyond just art. I would not consider him an easy teacher, but he is very clear about what he wants and expects from his students. Just put in the work, show interest and don't be afraid to ask for help and advice when you need it!

Professor Mannheimer is a great professor with SO SO SO much to offer. He constantly has you learning about new things and makes you interested in what he is saying. Lots of work/writing but you get a lot of feedback in return whih is great. I feel he spent as much time on the work that I did!

Marc is truely unique. Has an unbelievable collection of Converse sneakers(every color & pattern). He really knows his stuff too! He also stays in contact after you've graduated! Teaches many classes at NECC! I consider him a friend too!
