Dr. J is an amazing professor! She is consistently a positive part of my day since she is so passionate about her lectures. She also gave me great feedback on my writing, and I can't thank her enough for it. You don't really need to get the books she recommends, just pay attention in class and quizzes and papers are fine.

Had Professor Juchniewicz over at UML for children's literature. While taking the class, I knew it was labeled as "easy", but Professor Juchniewicz was a wonder to work with. She was caring, sweet, and thoroughly explained each assignment and showed a lot of interest in what her students had to say

Dr. J is a wonderful professor. She cares about her students and gets to know you by first name which shows how much she cares. Allows time in class for peer revisions which I found very helpful. Gives really good feedback on the essays and gives you tips and guidance along the way with the writing process.

Dr. J is such a wonderful person and professor. She teaches CW 1 at UMass Lowell and everyone absolutely loves her here. She is passionate about the class and really does care about her students. Also, she assigns a manageable amount of work and is a pretty easy grader.

Dr. J is so sweet! She really cares about her students and wants everyone to have a good experience. With the class I took, she seemed to stray from the topic quite a bit and just repeated herself... but she did make everything very clear; due dates, requirements, etc. I recommend taking her class if you're looking for a fun & easy class

I took her children's literature class. Melissa is awesome! She is a great teacher. Some people were always late or didn't even show up to class and they still passed the course. You dont even have to buy a book for this course, just borrow them at the library. She's very fun and the course is very interesting. Lovely lady! Easy to understand. Cool

I took her children's lit class. Class was easy, there was some work but it was fun. Overall a really good class to fulfill lit requirement. I didn't like her though, found her to be rude on a personal level. When I met with her for help, she started chit-chatting with the janitor while I was talking! Rude.

She was fun. We acted out plays. For the final, we took a piece and applied it to our lives, hobbies, or lifestyle. I took a spanish poem and said it made me think of my kitchen and cooking Pastalitos (or empanadas-it's like a deep-fried meat pie!) I A'd this class!
