Do not take him if you are lazy and not interested in the course. He will put you to work. At first it will seem annoying, but you will finish the semester knowing so much. If you do the homework correctly the tests will be easy. He gives you a chance to get the correct homework answers.

You need to find a friend who listened this class before to get feedback. Sometimes it's hard to understand during the class if you did not read textbook. When you need to do assignment you should understand and qustion to him during the classes this one is really hard to understand. So don't miss the class you might lose grade!

I wasn't a huge fan at first but I grew to love him. He likes you better if you show up. A lot of opportunity to get an A. Barely need the book because he covers everything in class. Kind of a hardo but I think he's funny

He is an old fashioned teacher. Participation and attendance are hugely important so show up and complete the reading. His take home study guides are basically his exams you will take in class. Read the chapters , raise your hand, engage in conversation. He really does want his students to succeed and tries very hard to help anyone who needs it.

He is a tough teacher and can be intimidating. If you do the work you will get an A, THE STUDY GUIDES WORK,DO THEM! If you go to him for help he will always do whatever he can for his students and he accepts all critisism given. As a person he is eccentric, interesting, funny, but very caring. One of my favorite professors I've ever had.
