This is the first and LAST time i will ever take him. I never wrote a review about a Professor, but had to in this instance. STAY AWAY! Please. If you are not a test taker do not take his class. Theres a test every week and no room to slow down, it s a joke. He says Study Hard and never follows up on emails when you need help. STAY AWAY!

Professor Ways is an extremely knowledgable man. However, he is stuck in his ways of teaching the same class for 20 years and expects that everyone has memorized his notes and lectures word for word. I reached out for help multiple times with no help in return. He only grades on tests that are timed. If you are not a test taker do not take him.

He wont help you out in any way. He has no respect or sympathy for what students are going to. He literally tells you that he cant help you because if he helps you he has to help everyone. I never knew helping your students out was such are crime. Just remember his website is perfect and your always wrong. Go with any instructor but him

I took prof. Ways for Anatomy and Physiology I and II over two semesters. just a disclaimer I already have a bachelor degree prior to taking these classes, so maybe I was a little more mentally prepared for them. if you put in the work and study frequently, you'll do just fine in his classes. exams and lab practicals are reasonable.

Prof. Ways is pretty hard, however, he really gives to the students just as much as he expects out of them. You definitely have to put a lot of time in to do well, but he gives you many support resources, and you learn above and beyond what any other A&P teacher would teach you. I highly recommend him!

Ways could've been a great teacher if he had slowed down just a little. he spoke too fast and expected his students to be able to understand him when he is very repetitive and is constantly talking.

Believe him when he tells you to study VERY HARD because if you dont, youre gonna FAIL. Hes a great professor and his class is really enjoyable if you put in the extra time to study. Listen to his lectures more than once, I guarantee you will pass if you know what his saying word for word. Attend SIs too if possible, those are free points.

I took professor ways this fall and ended up dropping half way through the semester. Ways is very smart and repetitive but his expectation is to learn at his level. The material is outrageous and even when you study for hours every day it will be a struggle to keep up. I would not recommend taking A&P with this teacher! Was devastated to drop

The teacher knows his stuff, and he expects you to know it at the same level he does by the time to take the exams. The lectures are long a grueling, and he is extremely repetitive! He doesn't take attendance but missing a class means missing a lecture and you really can't afford to try and catch yourself up. Only graded on exams. Heavy on vocab.

In my current ABSN program, I still refer back to my notes and tools provided by him. Dedicated on giving his students the absolute best education possible. A&P is not an easy subject, it takes dedication- Professor Ways organizes the material in such a way that makes it VERY possible for success. Worth every penny. If you want to learn- take him.

Prof Ways expects you to work, he is not one to pass you because you need the credit. I found his class to be great although it was not for all. I have a different prof for AP2 and wishing that I had Prof Ways again. If you study hard and listen to his lectures several times, you will have no problem passing his class.

I am a A student, and this class was an extreme struggle from start to finish. The teacher has been teaching the same AP class for 20+ years and he expects you to be as knowledgeable as him. In his lectures he talks sooo fast, it makes it very hard to absorb the information. I would NEVER recomend this teacher.

Noel Ways amazing teacher. Very knowledgeable, want you to mastering in his subject, but he ask you exactly what he teach you, the material from his handouts will be on your exam. So, record the lecture, very helpful. I promise, you will learn and mastering in the subject if you'll listen to the recorded lectures and STUDY HARD.

Professor Ways is a great guy he has been teaching for a long time and is very passionate. He created a website that corresponds with the lectures & its helpful. He talks fast but makes sure everyone understands. As he says (a lot) STUDY HARD. He is a very tough teacher but tests are pretty fair. Dedicate a LOT of time to study. (Record lectures!)

Comment:
Very intelligent guy. I do think that he made the material a lot more complex than needed as far as for teaching purposes. I wish I had taken this course during a regular semester and not an 8-wk. Some material on exams was unfair and unclear. Didn't give much time either and would stand over you or take the tests away with a minutes warning
