I like him as a person but not a professor. my only problem, I do my homework but some how he counties telling me i don't turn it in. i spends 2-3 hours on my homework i turn them all in. but he keeps losing them even the ones i resent. i'm not saying he's a bad teacher, he just need to be more prepare and more focus on the subject

We discuss the same thing over and over again. The main point of the class is Malcolm X, he doesn't follow his syllabus. To me, stidying Malcolm X should be in history, not english class.

The syllabus said we would cover a wide variety of genres, but all we focused on was the Autobiography of Malcolm X the whole semester then 3 random tests my little sister (she's 11) could've have taken. All I needed to do was show up, do the reading assignments and sound like I know what I'm talking about.

The class isn't bad, but as a teacher, I'm not too fond of him. He's doesn't have a bad personality but he tries to be hip. He's all over the place with assignments. His feedback is conflicting with his own feedback ALWAYS. If you get back graded work, double check to make sure you got the right grade. I've gotten the wrong grade back twice.

Very nice guy, however he is quite the lethargic type. He is unorganized and expects his students to learn out of a packet. With all that being said, if you really want to learn he is not the teacher to take. Moreover, he stresses minor things like the way someone staples their paper. He takes points off for something that minor.
