Had Homen online because of COVID, all the answers you need to quizzes & discussion boards are in the book & videos he does, you deff want to do your reading because he does go by the book. Makes history awesome to learn & he truly loves interacting w/students & understands when you need time, just always keep him in the loop. Amazing guy.

This professor is passionate about teaching. It was a lot of lecture with him just talking, but he knew his stuff. His teaching style was a little difficult for me to learn. The information was a little scattered.

Comment:

Professor Homen has been the BEST history teacher that I have ever had. His lectures are so informative and interesting that its hard to become bored. You have a couple in class tests but the rest are take home which he says and I agree that, It is more than fair. Would absolutely take again, and I took him at 8am.

Amazing professor!!! He keeps his lectures very interesting and is extremely enthusiastic. He gives all take home tests, which are an easy A if you pay attention and take notes. I also recommend you read the chapters before his lecture but it's not necessarily needed because he covers all the major points. Love him!!

Professor Homen gives students the opportunity to take their grade into their own hands by providing take home tests and multiple essays. I recommend making friends inside the class for test discussion. The few extra-credit opportunities he gives also can really turn a B into an A.

Professor Homen was an amazing Professor. He truly cares that all of his students succeed. History is not my favorite subject but he is so passionate about the subject and leaves you interested in his lectures! I would def take one of his classes again!

History has always been my least favorite subject, but Homen actually made the class interesting. He gives long lectures, but he makes it entertaining. As long as you take notes in class, you should definitely pass the class. He does have quite a few tests, but most of them are take homes.

Awesome, my favorite teacher in my college career. Would love to take more classes from him! Very clear in lectures and makes them interesting. I was never a fan of history but I absolutely loved the class and actually feel I gained knowledge from it. Gives you take home tests all from the lecture notes. Show up to class and take good notes!

If I could, I would take this class over and over again. P.S - I am majoring in Clinical Lab so I dont even need to take a history course, but honestly I would take it again just to listen to his lectures.

Since middle school history has been my least favorite class. I've never done exceptionally well because I find history boring. But, having Mr. Homen changed my mind completely. I'm not saying I'm a history fanatic but he has a great sense of humor and enjoys teaching history. His exams are lengthy but if you show up, take note and read you will do

This professor is awesome. Would recommend anyone to take him. Looked him up on rateyourprofessors before signing up for the course, and everything everyone said about him was true. Very straight-forward and as long as you try, you should get a good grade.

One of the best teachers hands down. Turned history from a dull and bland to a fascinating subject. Take the notes in his class stay off your phone and you will pass. His final is open notes for 20-30 minutes. Would take another course with him in a instant
