Comment:

Lots of chapter books for this class but they were really interesting. You have to read them because he will test you on every single one and the summary won't be enough to pass the tests. His lecture tests are pretty easy and basically go off the lecture guides word for word. This class is an easy A if you show up and do your work.

Comment:

I took Professor Teske for Problem Analysis for Victim Studies. This was his first time ever teaching this course so we worked together. We presented our assignments in front of the class. He was very nice, understanding, and knows A LOT about Criminal Justice. We read one book, and he was a great professor. He didn't overwhelm us with the material.

Dr. Teske is an amazing professor. I took him for child abuse and neglect and learned a lot. There are 4 chapter books you have to read that he tests over but the books are really interesting but sad. He does take attendance and its important to go to class because you will miss something. He knows a lot about this topic. He is also very caring!

I would recommend taking any of his classes. He teaches because it is his passion and it really reflects in class. The required reading is very interesting and eye opening. Super easy exams, gives you print out notes to fill in during class. If you're a CJ major you should definitely take him at least once. One of the best professors in Sam Houston

If you have the chance to take Dr. Teske, do it!! He is a phenomenal man- very experienced in the field and has a lot of wisdom that he loves sharing with his students! Print out the study guides, bring them to class & fill them out and you should pass exams with flying colors. A few book exams- all interesting content and easy grades!

Dr. Teske is the best professor I have taken at Sam. He cares so much about his students and the class. I highly recommend his classes! There is a lot of reading but it's worth it. The books are short, relevant, and interesting. He posts his lectures online and the test are right off them. Show up and read you'll make an A for sure.

Teske is SUPER easy this is the second time I have taken him and recommend him. Tests are just like the study guides only one I thought was not like his lectures was the final. He really don't respond quickly to emails so speak to him in person. Easy A for sure so show up to class to pass.

Have taken him twice. He is really nice, experienced and knows a lot about what he teaches. However, I would say his classes are more like easy passes instead of easy A's. You have to read a lot if you want to do well and if you skip class then don't even bother taking him. The microphone screech at the beginning of class gets old.

Dr. Teske has had some real experiences in Criminal Justice and will tell very interesting stories throughout the semester. He met with me multiple times throughout the semester after class to help catch me up on course material and is always willing to help students who show effort. He literally wrote the book for most of the classes he teaches.

He has been obsessed with using this Proctor Free testing system. Professors and students don't like it because it is so glitchy and difficult to use but he's so stuck on it that he is telling students to consider dropping the class if they can't figure it out. I'm afraid I can't recommend the professor based off of how testing works.

Mr. Teske was a great professor he was funny and showed great interest in his class. He gave a quizzes each week over the books we are required to get but the books are very interesting so definitely worth the read. He also gives reviews to ever quiz and exams as long as the class is interested in learning. Definitely worth it taking him.

Get ready for 3+ emails a day from him. LONG lectures! Reading 3 books quizzes over them plus exams. So much information. He created the class, so yea. If you miss more then 4 classes it drops your grade 3 pts per absence. After 8 you fail! Glad its over.

Dr. Teske is a good lecturer with practical advice. He does not teach from a textbook; instead, he teaches from hands-on experience and his own research. He takes the time to work with his students' schedules, he promptly responds to his students' emails, and he is a fair grader. If you work hard, you will do well.

Easy A class. All tests are online. Will have to print off ALOT of paper for fill in notes which is VERY helpful on the test. Very knowledgeable teacher on the subject and will answer any question and help where he can. 3 books suppose to read, do study guide and you wont have to read the books for the online tests.

MY FAVORITE CLASS!! HE works with you if you miss class or didnt read just make sure you email him. He give you notes and cheap textbooks the most was$17. the readings are good except the AOW book. the test are easy especially if you pay attention. His jokes are corny but i thought they were funny. definately pick him

He is very passionate about the material, it's his life. No textbooks, but you have to read about 4 short books and be tested over them (easy). Attendance IS mandatory. He posts lecture notes online with blanks, so you must he there to fill in the blanks because it will be on the tests. I've taken him for 2 classes and loved both. Very helpful prof
