He really takes the time to help you and even let's students bring notes for tests. His lectures are easy to follow and he is more than willing to go back and redo a problem or even do similar problems just to make sure you get it (doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions). Always stops and makes sure everyone is on track. Amazing teacher!

Took his class over the intersession. Math is my weakest point and the accelerated two week course was far from easy for me. However he is an outstanding professor, and will help you as much as possible if you need it. He respects effort and really takes notice to who is trying their best and who isnt. Easily the best math professor that I have had

I took Proff Shevory during intersession for intermediate algebra. I have never done well with math, but he was SO helpful. I received an B+ which doesn't happen for me with math! Great teacher, caring, willing to help as much as possible. Open notebook tests, willing to stay before and after class. Best math professor i've had! 10/10

very nice professor, math was always an easy subject for me but this class was a challenge. too fast paced, doesn't give you step by step unless you ask for it, he does alot of the work in his head. although tests are open book, open notes and calculator they were still challenging. he is very patient and helpful though but not easy!

Great teacher. Math is hard for me, but he explains it really well. He is a little fast paced, but he does so many examples from easy to hard that you can really understand it. He answers all questions. Tests open book/notes/calculator. Great class.

open book, notes, calculator tests. he knows math well but goes about teaching it at to fast of a pace. 5-6 tests not counting final. drops the lowest test. but makes the final count twice. its an easy course to fail.

Int Alg, Winter session class, 4 hrs/day, five days a week for two weeks. First math class in over ten years. Had a tough time due to pace and lack of aptitude, but able to keep up. Do homework, review in class, new material, repeat. He respects effort! Always available. Excellent professor!

Really nice, wants you to pass. Always wants to help, works with you when you need help or need to make up a test. open book tests so take good notes. he also gives you a study guide so you know whats going to be on the test.

I will give him this: he's loved by almost all the students. However, i found his course very confusing. He's the only professor I ever recieved less than a B from in my life. He has questions on the tests not covered in class and some of his tests are hand written (and badly!). However, most people like him, I hope you do too.
