Comment:

I had Professor Ficke for College Writing at Northern Essex Community College back in January of 2001. I believe his class was just a lot of essays and writing. I do, however, remember my final being a term paper and I did it on deaf studies. He was a good teacher. Not sure if he's retired by now or not, he was in his early 60s back then, I think.

I had him for Comp 1 & 2. It was like a low level high school class. Spelling and vocab tests and didn't learn how to write. In comp 2 he gave me an F on a paper without an explaination.

Professor Ficke is one of the best. Always interested in his students. (A real human being.) Very clear and direct to the point. He really does care that you understand the material taught. Fantastic!
