I have the highest respect for Dr. Froese. He is a talented teacher and writer. He works with his students to give each and everyone the opportunity to succeed.

Comment:

Froese is extremely relaxed about class rules. He assigns a paper every two weeks or so and a story out of the book to read also. Most of the time we had class on Tuesdays. Thursdays were set aside for conferences which means the rest of the class did not have to show up to class. This was an easy class for me. I had no problems!

Froese is very relaxed about deadlines and due dates; I wish his classes were more structured. He's still a very nice guy, has a good sense of humor, and knows a lot about writing. I think he'd be better one on one than in a classroom setting, he takes a really individual approach. Beware his horrible, illegible handwriting on the chalkboard.

I found that I didn't learn one thing in his class other than other uses for pot. He edits your paper and the next paper you pass in will be the opposite advice from the first one. Oh bring a pillow to class too!

Dr. Froese seems to be a nice person and is a good writer, but I wouldn't suggest taking any of his classes. He is very vague about due dates and the structure of assignments, so you have know idea of what you're supposed to do and when.
