Very good teacher. Always cheerful and makes jokes so the class has a nice atmosphere everyday. She is very good at sticking to the schedule she makes at the beginning of the semester, you will cover all material you are supposed to. As long as you do your work there should be no problems getting a good grade. Highly recommended.

Yea, one of the best. She used to teach Jap2 too and I took 1 and 2 from her. Her class is fun, tests are always from the homework, she won't drop you even you absent a lot, you can turn in your homework like 2weeks late hehe. With just ver little studying and you can get an A. By the way, you don't have to go to the lab because she doesnt care.

a VERY BAD one! probably avoid if you can, she didn't help me at all. her English is very bad i could not understand her and when i asked for assistance, she denied and said theres nothing that can be done for me to improve my grade and she didnt even help me, even tho she knows i had low grades in the quiz! Avoid this teacher!

Sato-sensei is a very cheerful, enthusiastic and helpful teacher! She will answer all your questions and will help you understand something you don't understand. Her attitude and teaching style make you WANT to come and learn! it's easy to get a good grade if you just come to class and pay some attention! Sato-sensei wa yokatta desu ne!

This is THE BEST teacher for learning Japanese. Everything you want in a teacher and more you will find in Sato Sensei. She is fun, very knowledgeable(both jap and english), knows how to teach, very helpful, and all around awsome teacher. I just wished she taught all the way up to Japanese 3...I am keeping my fingers crossed...

If you plan on taking Japanese, this teacher is the one to choose. Her happy, cheery, and fun attitude make it all worthwhile to go to class. Add to the fact that she's incredibly helpful and you have one great teacher. She's definitely one of the more extroverted and fun teachers I've had here.

She is the best japanese teacher. Her most disctinctive quality is that she is very clear in her explanations. She will explain it all through untill its fully understood by everyone. She makes the so much fun, you can't wait to get back to the classroom next time. Don't hesitate to enroll in her class if you take any japanese courses.
