Comment:

Susan Dentel is by far one of the best professors for this class. I mean, in general Anatomy & Physiology are hard classes but she really does give it her all and does her best to help accommodate to students. She cares about her students and and ways puts the effort to really help with whatever conflict we encounter. She is such a sweet person.

Comment:

Patho is a tough class with a lot of material to learn, Ms. Dentel makes it as easy as possible by having multiple avenues to learning. She has power points available to read and print out, she has video recorded lectures, and she has readings in the book. It is essential to do the quizzes for each chapter, some questions will be on the test!

Comment:

Her class was really difficult which is to be expected but she is a toughish grader. Tests are pretty hard but if you study enough they are passable. Make sure you use study guides and really really pay attention to lectures and do extra credit. She doesn't grade quick so turn assignments in early if you want feedback.

Comment:

Susan has such a great energy and cares a lot about her students. She checks in during lectures, so it's easy to keep up with her through all of that information overload! This class is hard enough as it is, but she will help you find a way to soak it all in. Remember to take it one step at a time and remember to breathe! You'll need it ;)

Comment:

Professor Dentel is phenomenal. Very informative, very knowledgable, very caring, and a very vibrant personality. She is very timely with responding to emails. Class like this is not meant to be an easy, blow off course. It is designed for students truly eager to learn. Preparing ahead of time and pacing the lectures will get you an A.

I LOVED her. She is available outside of class and responds to emails timely! Very down to earth and understanding. Gives great feedback and makes a usually very difficult class passable if you study! There's 5 modules, each with lengthy discussions, assignments, and an exam. Just stay on top and you'll succeed! Don't be afraid to ask questions!

This class requires a ton of study, but Prof Dentel is very a very accommodating grader. You have to do well on the exams which require a lot of study and are a ton of your grade, but you just have to show up to class to get credit for the quizzes (at least for her mixed mode class). The rest of the work is an easy A as well and there is EC

This is just a hard class in general. Gave the one star down because sometimes her feedback is not the most helpful. So, so nice as a person she is an absolute gem. Likes to tell a lot of stories which breaks up the sometimes dry information. She loves class participation but it is not necessary. Quite a bit of EC and sometimes brings sweets.

Susan is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is invested in her students learning and supplies lots of resources like study guides, practice quizzes, recorded lectures, etc. She does everything she can to help you succeed and is super kind and goofy. The class material is difficult but much more manageable with her!

There is a lot to be learned in a short amount of time, but Susan is accessible outside of class and will you give you helpful study methods for the exams if you are struggling. She also gives extra credit and is extremely reasonable with grading. Be on time for easy attendance points and complete assignments on time and you will do just fine!

I loved having Susan as my professor. She is very personable and makes class interesting and fun! The material is heavy, and tests are hard if you don't understand/skip lecture. She takes attendance(rewards you for itE/C.) She provides practice test questions, optional worksheets for practice and even provides a study guide! 20/10 would recommend!

Susan is one of my all time favorite professors! She's one of the kindest teachers I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. She makes herself available and puts the students' needs first. The exams are the hardest part of class, though she provides a ton of resources and study guides. I absolutely adore her and am going to miss her!

Susan is a great professor, she makes class interesting and happily makes herself available to you when you need extra help. There is a lot of material that she covers and it is ALL on the test. The tests are hard but if you study the slides and your notes than you should be fine, I was. She also does have worksheets for extra pts now and then

Absolutely loves susan! Tests are hard. But patho isnt a easy class. Shes vey helpful and will help you with anything. I still stop by all the time to say hi and give her a hug absolutely love and recomend her to anybody.

Don't take this class online. Susan's recorded lectures are long, dry and move very fast. Perhaps she's a better lecturer in person? I also found the discussion boards a terrible way to learn; felt more like regurgitation than learning. Very disappointed in the execution of this online class.
