Comment:
There's no doubt Prof. Ansah is a brilliant man and his knowlege of the law is amazing, but his ability to communicate that knowlege to his students, partularly green 1L's, can be lacking. His lectures can be a bit unweildy, so if you need stuff broken down step by step, you're gonna have some trouble. I would definately take him in 2L and 3L.

Prof Ansah is great! He is very smart and knows the material well. Furthermore, he really takes the time to analyze and grade essay questions and gives you valuable feedback. Very accessible out of class. A very kind, concerned man. Love him and loved the class!

Ansah is kind, funny & caring. As a prof, he's so brilliant that he's often incomprehensible; he can't "dumb it down" for students. His exams are unclear & difficult. Use the E&E, use supplements, b/c he expects you to know EVERYTHING. Overall, I loved him as a prof, enjoyed being challenged, but wish he were more clear in his teaching.

as an otherwise straight A student, this was my only B. Tough class, tough grader. Teaching was not as incomprehensible as others say but it wasn't clear either. Reading is essential adn be prepared for class. Ansah actually goes easy on those not prepared though..nice guy on a personal level.

Wow is he smart. But his class is not easy to follow. He is an abo****ely wonderful person who really cares about us as students but..seems unable to ratchet it down a bit for 1L's who still don't know the basics...frustrated as a 1L but will definitely take another course once I know more...

Definitely the smartest teacher that I've ever had. My section was frustrating because a lot of them wanted to be spoon-fed the material and that definitely is not his job. I would recommend the E & E, as it really helps clarify a lot of nuanced concepts. Oh, and he is funny as all hell, so be sure not to miss class.

Probably the smartest professor I've ever had; only issue with this is that he taught assuming we knew what he was talking about. This made things very confusing, but once on his level he's very easy to understand. Explained difficult concepts well and was extremely helpful outside of class. Very entertaining too! I would suggest a supplement.

Best Contracts prof I ever had (only had one). Don't rely on class time for contracts...or your entire legal education.

This man inspired me to drop out of law school. He is innumerate and will use 65 words in a sentence when 10 would get the job done.

Trainwreck. Not very concerned with students until right before we are required to fill out professor evaluation forms. I suggest getting an E and E as soon as possible and start teaching yourself.

Instead of spending thousands of dollars on his class, I could have spent $40 on the E&E and learned more. Nice guy but this does not come close to compensating his inability to teach the material.

Ansah is a hit or miss for most students. I had Ansah for K's first year and thought he was confusing at times in explaining crucial concepts. Most students didn't catch on the fact that Contract (or any 1st year law courses) you basicly had to learn on your own. Once I started doing a lot reading outside class eg. EE's, he made a loty of sense.
