He's certainly knowledgeable but teaching style is quite frustrating. Made ZERO PREPARATIONS FOR CLASSES and more concerned with letting you know how experienced he is than actually teaching anything. Lectures often way off topic or catered to the more experienced students. Messy, stale, and unprofessional shop environment. I Would not do it again.

PROS- Tom is very knowledgeable, forgiving if you miss class as long as its not habitual, the class is fun, if you show up and participate you will learn. CONS- Tom is easily distracted and an entire class could turn into an off topic discussion, Tom is disorganized and doesn't have any sort of teaching plan, shop is a total mess hard to use
