Comment:

One of my favourite people (not just professor) I've met. I respect him greatly. Very personable. Smiles a lot. Has a dark yet pleasant sense of humour. As a professor, he's easy to work with. Knows a lot about his field. I've had four classes with him thus far (3D Design, Sculpt I & II, Drawing II). Very pleasant atmosphere when in his class.

Comment:

This man is probably the greatest professor I've ever had. I've had him for three classes now and he does a fantastic job teaching and sticking our toes into the water for new ways of drawing/sculpture. He's very passionate about student work as well, always helping us go forward with whatever style we create.

Comment:

Tom Matsuda is one of those teachers that REALLY cares about his students. He goes to great lengths to help you succeed by offering tips and information about ways to broaden your portfolio outside of school and ready yourself for transfer (if that's what you want). Good understanding of materials. Funny, and excellent overall. Take his 3D class.
