Comment:

Tim Was officially the best teacher I had at Monsterrat. He made sure everyone was going at a good speed and pushed us to work hard. Spent a little time with everyone. Shared excellent art books. He didn't dote on anyone in particular which gave everyone an equal feeling. Very clear teacher. When he said he liked something he told you exactly why.

Tim is still the best teacher I have ever had. Go into his class with an open mind and leave any stubbornness at the door. His focus is on drawing to see, relationships (aesthetic), and empathy. The greatest teachers continue to teach long after you've left their class.

Tim taught me at UMASS Lowell and the Decordova. I am glad he said the same things over and over and over and over. They are all still inside my head - thank god. If he is still the same guy, he'll never read this, so if you do, tell him. 'thank you'--VC

first time students often say tim kicked my "butt". he has a very different method of teaching which takes getting used to. but listen to him. his passion and energy is infectious, and he is very attentive to individual students. listen to this
