This prof is great. No need to purchase the textbook. He gives out handouts and tells you what is going to be on the exam. He answers any questions you may have. Also whatever error you find point it out. You'll get extra points. Just take good notes and study the handouts you'll pass.

Gives extra points for finding any mistake. At the end of the semester he add. Really teaches his students so they can fully understand. No need to buy the book. He gives handouts of the material. I regret buying the book. We barely use it for the semester. Also he reviews the exam throughly to make sure you have everything for your study guide.

This is the best teacher ever!!! The first day I went to his class I felt scared thinking that he's tough. To my surprise, this professor teach you exactly what you need to know.... he always prepare his student to for the next level..... and he also give out points if you see him making mistake in lectures. You don't need a book for his class.

goes over a few of the exact answers on tests during review. Lots of bonus points if you point out mistakes he makes. Every test comes with bonus points. Accepted lab work for full credit up to one week late. Went on tangents about Ebola. Should have skipped buying the $60 lab book - he made xerox copies for everyone.

PROS: Reviews some test questions during reviews. Has bonus points in class if you correct spelling or something he has misspoken on. Tests are out of 110 or 120 points each (out of 100) CONS- Gets in yelling matches with students. Does not have a strong grasp in the sciences. Misgrades tests (missing points). Claims wheatgrass can cure HIV.

Although he yells at you, he breaks it up with periods of humor. I appreciate his knowledge in all aspects of science. Loves to give bonus points you call out errors in the material he is presenting.

Comment:

Professor Kariba is a really good teacher. He makes sure you understand the work and touches on a different parts of science. For example he touches on Microbiology, Chemistry, and Biology which will come in handy in the future. Overall I will high encourage student to take him. And he doesnt really give test or homework.
