Comment:

Easily the worst prof I've ever had, he drones on, reading from his powerpoint or ipad for hours, his syllabus is 22 pages and just as dry, obtuse, and boring as the man who wrote it. One group assignment makes up almost 50% of your grade. It's irrelevant and bloated to last weeks, probably the worst example of a teacher ever. Avoid if you can.

Comment:

Warren is super nice and super passionate. However as a teacher in the education department he is an awful role model. All he does is stand in front of the class and lecture with PowerPoints incoherently laid out, which is the exact opposite way we are being taught to teach. If you have an issue with content email him, he loves conversing.

I honestly felt that his classes were a bit boring. The readings and summaries that we had to do were basically all explained in his lectures. He was a nice person and was trying to get along with the students. We had tutorials with TA and had to work in groups with discussion.

He was super boring. He's really nice but I literally only went to 3 lectures (2 being the midterm and final) and still passed with a B+. So yeah. There were a few things I did like about this course though; the readings were actually very informative and useful. but like, so boring.

His lectures are boring because he speaks in a monotone for hours. But if you initiate feedback/comments/questions he readily facilitates and engages you. He's very intellectual & gives generous feedback on assignments. Very knowledgable and passionate about the subject but boring delivery.

He speaks in a monotone. Not much class interaction unless you initiate it.But he will engage your comments. Otherwise he will go on for hours in a boring monotone. Content was interesting and very relevant but delivery is rather dry. He is very intellectual and scholarly. Organized and a meticulous marker - detailed feedback.

BORING, could not survive without my laptop, he talks so much. The information that he teaches is completely useless and irrelevant to the course. Personally I did not gain anything from this course, only an A grade on my report, pretty easy though.

Great Proff! Very helpful when you approach him.Funny. Very passionate about class participation. Uses great examples and frequently emails the class articles relevant to the lectures. Assignments and tests are fair as long as you use both his notes and the textbooks. Really would like to take another class of his:)

This man signed on to be on my Masters thesis committee, then completely fell off the face of the earth when the time came to review my draft prior to defense. He has failed to respond to communications from myself, my advisor and my program office. My success as a student is in his hands and he has shirked his responsibilities. For shame!

I took two courses with him and he's REALLY nice!! He takes the time to read your work so that he can give a lot of feedback (he writes up almost a page of comments!). The classes can get boring (they do go for 3 hrs) but he's very intelligent and warm. As for marking, I did not hear of ONE person in either of my classes who did not get an A.
