Always around to answer questions. Very knowledgeable with the course material. His hands on lab teaching technique lets you actually understand what you are doing with. Not too fast so you dont get confused, and not too slow so its not boring, the perfect pace. His true stories are very interesting, throws a one in there every other class or so.

Awesome guy! He wants the students to do well and is willing to answer any questions. Does not want anyone to worry about making mistakes and will tell his own stories. Going to class doesn't feel like a chore and you learn a lot! Take his class!

I wasn't raised like my fellow computer literate peers. I didn't understand anything about computers aside from different software until I took this class. Mr. Golen is very knowledgeable in this field and explain everything with such clarity. He really is the only person to ever make technology make sense and seem simple. Always answers questions.
