Dr Wilson is interesting to listen to but the amount of time it takes to receive your grades back is ridiculous. Exam season is over and I have 20% of my final grade back in his course. You will have no idea where you stand the entire semester, and Dr Wilson will become very defensive if you ask. Avoid him if you care about grades.

Amazing professor. Really cares about you and listens carefully to feedback during the class. We had an oral exam and he took feedback in setting up. We learned how to quilt in it and it was a very laid back atmosphere. Super fun, super engaging, not difficult to do well!

At first I didnt really want to take the class, but it turned out to be one of the best! Dr. Wilson is very interesting and engaging lecturer, he can explain complicated things in an understandable way. I enjoyed the lectures as they were always topped with good jokes. This course will definitely broaden your mind

I took the course because I heard he was a great professor. I learned the hard way not to trust people on this because I found him to be pretty terrible. I emailed him about 4 times with various questions and he never responded, so I finally had to talk to him in person at office hours (a pain). He also assigns tons of readingsonline quizzes.

Wilson is a great prof. He is very funny, smart and interesting. He is so hot, and his accent makes you melt!! one unfortunate thing is that he seems to be big on group discussions, which are usually always a waste of him, but students do tend to like them because they don't have to actually work :P

He is absolutely fabulous! He really cares about the success of the student. His methods may be difficult to get used to, and you must do your readings! I find him to be very interesting and engaging. If you ever have difficulty, he is more than willing to help outside of the classroom. And who can argue with a tall australian?

What should have been a fascinating class (religion and pop culture!) unfortunately was not. His lectures are painful at times and generally uninteresting. Tests are much too difficult for a supposed first year class. I would not reccomend this to any first year student and wish I hadn't disregarded the comments of others to that effect.

Possibly the best lecturer ever: SO funny, repeats important points & reinforces them with ex of art, music and pop culture: obviously puts a lot of work into each day's class. Approachable, helpful, flexible, nice, clear explanations of subject matter. His breadth of knowledge is incredible! I would highly recommend his classes.

he can be funny at times...but his teaching method is awful...not very clear at all, a lot of classes there seems to be no point to anything, yet he expects his exams to be written a certain way...Especially for first year classes...I would not recommend his classes for any first year student...the work is confusing, hard and Dull
