Got an easy A. She gave a 25 extra credit assignment that was to attend a lecture she picked and write a paper of what you learned. Also, she told us that if we had an A at the end of the semester, we were exempted from her final. Super easy class, basically high school chemistry.

Comment:
The class itself was easy. Any high school chemistry class would have covered ALL the material. Gives objectives and lectures are a bore. Makes you do 50acts of conservation. Only problem: our TA graded like we were graduates but Dr. McGowin fixed it. Negotiated to not take the final if we didn't want to and have it as our dropped "lowest grade"

She gives you objectives b4 every exam (all the answers to her objective questions are directly on her power point slides), & the exams are true to her objectives. The lab reports are weird and are not written like real lab reports (you won't have a hypothesis). There's 5 exams and some hw so keeping up is the only difficult part. Material is easy.

I got a B and missed the last 2 weeks of class. I never missed lab though. Get in good with you lab TA and you will be fine. Go to the TA if you have questions. The lectures were excruciatingly boring. But never fear they, aren't mandatory.

A little bit above normal in difficulty. She's an ok teacher. Make sure you go to all labs, so you can get every easy point available, and with some studying you should pass kind of easy.

She is helpful in that she emails you notes and gives "Objectives" for chapters. The book is Ok also. BUT in class I learned absolutely nothing. Very boring class with a lot of work involved.

Absolutely horrid, She is not a very good professor. She thinks that she is teaching Graduate School students who love Chemistry. Will instruction like this no wonder Wright State has to force students to take science classes. This is forced fed Communist learning at its best, Avoid this professor.

She goes simply by what she says in class and what is on her notes. The book explains things so much better but that doesnt matter cause she test on how she explains it. She can help sometimes but overall she makes things alot harder than they need to be. The class would be easy if it werent for her.
