He is a really, really nice guy but a horrible teacher. He bounces around so much and talks about nothing. If you're good in English you'll be fine but if English is not your strong point then I do not recommend taking him.

What a strange individual. He is very tardy, and was even 30 mins. late the day of the EXAM!!! His discussions go into many different directions, and I was never comfortable with how I was doing. I somehow walked out with a B.

Extremely tardy! He is 5-15 minutes late to class EVERYDAY! He is even worse at grading assignments. Multiple essays were postponed due to the lack of prior assignments being graded. These essays were WEEKS apart in due dates. Most students never got to see a grade for essays written in the middle of the quarter.

He often gets his attention diverted and he delves deeply into topics unrelated to the coursework at hand. He's deaf in one year and that tops it off. This is the nicest professor you will ever meet and if you want an extremely helpful and bright individual with the tendency to seldom lead you away from what the hell is really going on, find him!!!

This is the most horrible experience I have ever had with an English teacher in my entire life. He can't hear at all! He assigns work and does not explain it clearly. When he grades papers, he scribbles all over them and nothing he writes is readable. He is also late to class every flipping day!

He is very helpful. He likes to talk and lecture usually went over the alotted time. I agree with other reviews in regards to showing up to class, interacting during class and maybe a little brown nosing will go a long way in regards to your grades.

In 90% of classes, we spent our time talking about pointless things like cats who got their tails run over by rocking chairs. He goes off on long tangents; rarely speaks about material relevant to the class; and is partially deaf, so you have to speak very loudly for him to hear you. However, he does not grade harshly (if he likes you).

I was insulted by his elementary approach to some of the good literature we read. He is pleasant enough, but I pay for an education and despise feeling like I have to tolerate my classes. He does not teach to college level.

Prof. Forrester, while a very nice individual, talks the entire class about movies no one's seen (most of them foreign). The class itself seems like it doesn't really matter, he tells lame jokes, laughs at himself, and vividly describes food. Honestly, I think everyone should just take English 111 online, you don't do anything in the class.

I liked him at first, he is easy going. I never felt his classes were useful though, I never benefited from them. I missed few classes and he started grading my papers differently, I think he took it personal...anyways, I do recommend him if u are willing to show up for his classes and laugh at his jokes.

he is just nutty. always going off on tangents and laughing at his own jokes while the whole class is waiting for him to get to the point. he never went over readings and never checked our progress on papers. i concidered it a total blowoff class and only turned in the final papers.

I really disliked his class. He's a nice guy and all, but he just rambles most of the class period alway talking about useless stuff. Honestly, I don't think I would have missed much if I didn't come to class most days. He also is a diligent grader, so be careful on papers! On the plus side, he does answer any questions you have.
