Worst teacher ever! She thinks she is hot or something. She is so full of herself. Bad teaching style and she is so rude about everything. No excuse for anything. Always give u bad atitude when u ask her question. Try to pretend nice sometimes to gain her popularity but only high school kids would buy that. I hate her class so much it was a nightmare. She gave so much work during winter like you don't have to rest. And she is a hard grader too. I really think she even wrote her own comment here

I am so glad I took her class! I really enjoyed the group readings and discussions. She has a wonderful way of engaging everyone in the class, and I feel that I learn well in that situation. If you feel comfortable sharing thoughts and input then you'll enjoy her class.

teaching style: engaging & effective. has subtle way of making students think things thru carefully. those who had problems w/her were reactionary jerks who didn't want to think & didn't like the open, critical-thinking space she created, & disrupted discussions; probly source of neg comments below.

Ms. Oropeza is such an excellent teacher. I took her during intersession so that was tough. She grades hard and expects students to act like college adults. Instills structure in the class which is great. The insipid comments below are probably from people that failed her class, disregard them.

I dont know what other students are saying, but i had a lot of fun in her class. if you guys had a hard time during the regular semester.. THINK ABOUT US WHO TOOK HER FOR INTERSESSION! she helped a lot with my writing. She grades hard ofcourse, but that just means that you have a lot to improve.

I took her over the summer, she's not a mean person. Sometimes she can get a little mood swing but overall she was nice. She gives a lot of essays. The work isnt hard but she DOES GRADE HARD!.
