Professor Hays is awesome! If you put in the work, he'll help you out the whole way. I took him at an online school, University of the People, where he held regular video conferences and was there every step of the way in the learning process.

Do i have the exact words to describe him; once you're on your dead end for math look no further. Prof Hays makes math easy as possible with all enjoyable youtube tutorials, homeworks are done by him as you just follow his steps and redo it. tests and the final are easy as its exactly whats on the study guide & include half a page of cheat sheet

Hays is great if you stink at math like I do. He has YouTube videos of all the homework problems and the chapter test reviews explaining how to work the problems. He's very clear in explaining things and answering questions. He's very entertaining with his stories. Genuinely cool guy.

This professor knows his math but is a terrible teacher. He has helpful youtube videos but often looses track of what he is doing because he is watching TV at the same time. Answer keys are often wrong making homework very difficult. Can go off on unrelated stories and class is from 7:15-10:15 with one ten minute break.

I had Elementary, Intermediate, and College Algebra consecutively with this instructor. He. Is. Excellent! He is super approachable if you don't understand something. I didn't understand Alg. at all before I took his class, and I ended up Acing his classes because he has excellent teaching skills.

Mr. Hays is truly in the correct profession. He is considerate, knowledgeable, and has an uncanny ability to decipher complexities. Although the course was online, Mr. Hays made himself approachable in a variety of ways to assist (online teleconferences were invaluable).

Great instructor he is very helpful and cooperative. Very willingly answers every question. Very well taught class uses the best methods to solve problems. Has homework in which helps you learn that much more about the subject. Funny great personality enjoys the subject. I wish every instructor cared as much and was as great of person as he is.

David is an awesome teacher! I went into the class dreading it but did really well. He is very helpful and explains how to do problems very well. If you have a hard time understanding algebra I suggest you take his class! He also has a wonderful personality!

Very cooperative teacher. Extremely busy work, though, with homework every day. YOU MUST HAVE THE APPROPRIATE CALCULATOR OR YOU WILL BE MISERABLE (I GOT MY CALCULATOR THE LAST WEEK AND A HALF.) He had makeup homework/tests toward the end of the semester. And if you have questions or concerns, he is very prompt and understandning with his response.

In stats he gave us tons of notes, and we got to use them on all the tests, even the final. The only thing that sucked was that we had hoemwork EVERY night. It was probably one of the most time consuming classes I had.

Comment:

Very easy classes, with homework taken with the same weight as tests. Shows how to do everything on the calculator, not much by hand, plus he gives at least a page full of notes so there is no memorization involved. I do NOT recommend taking him if you are planning on taking higher math, Take Nichols! otherwise great guy!

I found Mr. Hays to be a very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable instructor and would like to encourage anyone who doesn't have math at the top of their list of favorite studies, to give him a try. I thorougly enjoyed the class.
