His exams and quizzes cover a lot of materials and to be honest, they are hard. However, you will also learn a lot from him since he is passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. He also gives very detailed feedback on your presentation.

Kushner's class is very tough specially when it comes to test and quizzes. He doesn't give HW except projects. He is always there for your in office hours and doesn't give up until you understand what you are struggling in. Its a hard class but he offers help and if you take it you'll be ok.

His courses are challenging. He pushes students to do their best, is very critical of assignments, and puts alot of time and effort into correcting them. He is receptive of student concerns. He also identifies areas that need improvement and tells you. He cares about his students and his passion for learning and research is contagious.

Prof. Kushner is amazing! The best professor on campus and definitely the best prof in the Bio Department. He is greatly helpful, committed to the class and his students, awesome person, very approachable and very helpful at all levels. His class was fairly hard, but you learn a lot, especially for medschool!

GREAT PROF! Kushner is one of the best prof's i've ever had. he is super-organized and it shows that he really cares. multiple choice tests are really, really hard, but when you do well, it feels good. he's a great prof and you learn a ton!

I agree, he is a little anal on lab reports and whatnot. But I really appreciated all the notes he put on my papers - I know what to do now in the future. And he's such a sweetheart - will definitely help you out the best he can if you need it. He's the ultimate nerd, and it rules ^_^

One of the best profs I've had at Dickinson. He is extremely organized, great lecturer, & puts in a lot of time & effort grading papers/exams to give you constructive criticism desgined to really help you improve. Very demanding, but definitely worth the effort. I highly recommend him.
