This professor you can tell he loves teaching. He is very lecture heavy. His tests are so hard no matter how hard you study. only 4 will pass the test. My class avg. was a 63 on every single test.

Very sweet as a person but not helpful in any way shape or form as a teacher. Do not take him unless your already familiar with the content. Runs his labs very fast paced and refuses to help because we are "adults" now. READ SYLLABUS ASAP after registering for his class. FLASHCARDS HELP! and there's tutoring sessions held in the biology center

He's approachable and as tough as the class is, he does typically offer extra credit on the exams. Lots of homework and reading but gives a clear outline on what material to read

Regardless of the Professor you have, anatomy and phys is going to be a hard class. Fortunato gave great lectures and he's really a nice guy. If he sees you are really trying he will help you. Started our class with 24 and ended with 9. You will only pass this class if you work hard. I really do feel like I learned something from him!!

Prof. Fortunato is strict, however it helps in disciplining yourself to study. You NEED to be in class, READ the activities before lab so you know what you will be doing. He knows his stuff&if you do not understand ask for help, crucial in surviving this class&PAY ATTN! A lot of time and studying needs to be done on your own to pass this class!!

very clear when giving lectures, makes sure everyone understands the topic, and actually tells us what's important to take notes on. He is agressive and intimidating but he was a good teacher, i would have him again if i could.

The first day of class he made it seem like I was in bootcamp for the military. He never wrote any notes down. If you ask him a question and its not a good question he pretty much calls you stupid. His test are very hard. He yells all the time. You can never be late to his class. DO NOT TAKE THE CLASS!

Tough Tests. Tough personality. Knowledgeable. Most importantly, he actually is nice: he is scary on purpose. If his lectures don't make sense, be proactive and go to his office hours. Being proactive is the key to success.

Very intimidating and talks very fast when teaching. Tells you what will be on exam, but adds more than what he says. If you get one bad grade he will discourage you and suggest you drop the class, he will not try to help you succeed.

very hard class, test are hard and can be confusing, does not review for exam, strict and firm. knows the material well. cannot miss a day and you must read and teach yourself. does not work with you at all. you have to be a med student or nurse to take this class and be prepare to study every single day otherwise you will not get a good grade.

Very hard class but he teaches the material well, and let's us know what will be on exams and what won't. Previously taking a&p I got a c but this time around I have an A avg so far. In my opinion, he's a great professor. Just gotta work for the grade

he is not a good professor at all. he tells you what is supposed to be on the test but it ends up not on the test. he gives ridiculous amounts of work on wiley plus and has no consideration for the fact you may have other classes or othe things to do beside his work every night. he barely answers any questions in class either. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

He is very stern. Does not review for test. The day before a test he will start the chapter that is on the next test. Super hard class; if you dont take it seriously, like me, you wont pass. I had to withdrawl.

Very knowledgeable professor. He knows his stuff but he's kinda hard on us. He expects you to know everything so don't take this class if you're not gonna take it seriously. I never studied so much in my life. The second test is the hardest and everything I studied was not even on the test...

Comment:

Subject is difficult to begin with. He advises you in advance what is on the test, and what is not. If you take good notes, read the textbook and study you will do well. Slackers need not apply here. I enjoyed his class, teaching style and wit. Very Approachable and intillegent man.
