Comment:
He gives out many exams based off of the textbook, or the recorded lectures. The discussion board posts are not counted towards your grade, only your exams. You are given a research paper at the end of the semester which is very hard. You had to get a lot of resources and get your paper approved first. Absolutely do not take his class!

As a professor he was bad, his lectures made no sense and he was way too tough when it came to the research papers at the end of the semester. I had to rewrite my paper 3 times in order for him to approve, I tried my hardest every time and it just wasn't good enough for him. The whole time he just explains the course as being a "jig saw puzzle."

Worst Professor. He failed to care for his students and is very disrespectful and rude. He gave us 4 black board assignments that required us to purchase movies and complete assignments correlating to the movies, he only counted these assignments as participation and didn't put it in the grade book. It was a waste of time and money. Drop this class

He had no compassion for the class being completely remote, especially as a new freshman. There are very minimal things that go into your overall grade and he is a tough grader making it very hard to improve your grade. Tests are very hard and you need the textbook, lecture notes are not helpful at all.

If you get him, drop your class immediately. He is not a bad guy but a terrible professor, he should not be teaching. Such a hard grader, tests are insanely hard when they should not be. Just drop him if you do not want you gpa to go down.

He isn't understanding about working from home, especially newly as a freshman. He calls you "lazy" if you site your final paper wrong and automatically fails you. Class was supposed to meet twice a week but he made it asynchronous without asking us. Not very good at explaining concepts and notes are confusing. Get textbook, notes aren't helpful.

I had Prof. Leung online. Do not take this class if you ask questions because he won't answer them. He never helped with anything. He is extremely rude. Taped lectures are extremely long and unnecessary because he just rambles on about where he has been in the world. Tests are the grades towards your final grade. Tests are extremely hard.

There are a lot of papers that were hard, but if you ask for help you will get it. He wants all his students to succeed + pushes them to do their best. I highly recommend taking comparative aging. I could tell he was passionate about the material. He showed us studies + research he has completed + talked about his life.

Honestly, this man has me in awe. I do not think I have met a teacher who is so confusing and demanding at the same time. There were only 4 assignments and even with getting help from him I still only managed a C. Assignments were also extremely confusing and unclear. I really do not know what you are supposed to learn in this course.

Such a nice guy. I hate this class & the way it's taught but I recently went to one of his office hours for help with my paper and this guy really knows how teach and explain things if you ask for the help. Otherwise, you basically need to read the textbook and teach yourself. He's kind of all over the place in class but he means well.

He tends to ramble abt stuff. His tests are pretty straightforward and mostly based on the textbook. A little eccentric and his syllabus is pretty ambiguous. Kinda just makes up assignments along the way with his own due dates. Learned a lot and would take him again if it didnt affect my gpa - def a tough grader. No study guides for exams so read.

Professor Leung makes students teach themselves with the textbook and goes over nothing relevant in class, he has no powerpoint presentations that we can take notes on, but we are graded by the way we take notes. Definitely don't reccommend.

wants you to think outside the box on everything. make a comment in class and hell question everything you say. 3-5 papers that are graded very harshly. do one thing wrong and he calls you out. very specific guidelines.

Hardest grader. Funny, nice guy, but as a professor, insane. Critiques every single mistake, doesn't give A's because "This isn't math, theres always room for improvement."

he is a tough grader but if you come to class on time and show him that you care he will make sure you get at least a C in the class. do not miss class a lot because he will call you out and reduce points on your grade. ho hon is my advisor and outside of class he is a sweet and caring guy- he just wants what's best for his students.
