Wouldn't recommend taking a class with Dr. Amin. Only reads powerpoint slides during lectures. Only grades are 3 quizzes and 3 exams, doesn't tell you what you missed and doesn't return work to you. Words things very confusingly on the exams making them making difficult. He grades pretty quick so I guess thats a plus. Not an easy A elective.

This professor should not be teaching environmental science. Lectures consist of him reading word for word from the notes. He is impossible to contact outside of class. He will not let anyone ask any questions because there is not enough time. His exams are overly difficult and each question is worded confusingly. Would never take again.

Not very accessible outside of class and the tests stick pretty much to his powerpoint not the book. He hates when people don't show up for class and calls them out. This class wasn't hard but was so boring and the tests were sort of tricky.

If you don't go to class and don't study you WON'T pass. There are only 3 exams and that's all the grades. He reads off the slides so it's pointless to go but you have to to get the notes. But really, if you don't study you won't pass. If you are looking for an easy gen ed, this isn't it.

The exams are the only things that are graded. If you don't attend class, you will fail. Seems nice enough, however, you have to fend for yourself if you have no acquaintances in the class or miss a class.

Dr. Amin is awesome. I had him for Physical Geology course, the class wasn't that hard at all, his exams are fairly easy. He would assist you if you have any inquiries or questions. I would take him again for sure.

First off he interrupted several students while they were presenting . He goes so fast while the class is trying to take notes. He will not go back to the previous slide when asked. Would never take his boring class again . Being an education major I am shocked that he is allowed to teach.

he seems nice, but at the same time his tests were very tricky. really try going to all his classes and look over the notes every night so you can have a better memory. I tried asking him for help, he told me to keep studying soo yeah guys... just study with a group of people for his class. that would help a lot!!

I thought he was going to be hard in the begining...but he's pretty easy! Go to class, copy down his powerpoints, and study his notes. Don't bother buying the book! I actually liked him and thought he was really nice. Make sure your class participates and he'll give you a really nice curve!

Dr. Amin is very funny, nice, and helpful. He really cares about his students and your success. However, if you don't go to class you will not do well. So if you like or are prone to skipping, I say don't bother.

Class is ok. He makes me feel like I'm a 10 year old sometimes when he is writing notes on the board. He comes off sort of mean, but he is very friendly & helpful. Tests are ok, just make sure you pay attention. Overall, I'd recommend him. He knows his stuff.

Ya know, in the beginning he seemed like a mean guy. Like he was out to "get" everyone in the class. By the end of the module, he was a likable person. HE was very helpful and knowledgable and even funny at times. I would take him again.

Dr. Amin seems a bit uptight at first, but he's actually a funny guy. His class was a simple combination of a few experiments, corresponding lab report, and one final exam. Follow his notes for each assignment & the test, and you'll be fine. Good times, good class, I'd take him again!
