The best 4000 level psych course! He makes it very simple and is such an easy marker! If you need help, he will do all he can to make it the easiest for you. Winter 2020 semester was tragic (snowstorm/COVID) but he was so accommodating and didn't let it affect our grades and extended a lot of our research papers to give us more time! Great course!!

Jamie Drover is a great guy. I would not say the easiest for tests or marking but good overall and nothing unfair. Really nice to talk with after and outside of class if you have any questions or want to go over your test/assignments.

James is an amazing professor. While developmental psychology is heavy in material he gives clues in class on whats important to know (aka what will be on the tests) and he makes the classes very interesting and enjoyable. He was very nice and encouraged student to come see him if they had any questions about the paper (which was also easy) 10/10!

The class psychology 4070 with James Drover was great. It was busy with material and papers and lab work to design studies. The marking of papers was very fair and there were lots of details given before and after to help the process along.

One of the best profs I have had at MUN by far. He really cares about his students and wants them to achieve their highest potential. Go to class, listen, and take notes and you should do well.

Dr. Drover is an amazing professer. This is my first class with him and he taught it so well and was very interesting to learn from, i found going to class was essential as he said a lot of important info to add in notes! His tests were fair and assingment he told us step by step what he wanted! The information was also very interesting to learn!

Jamie Drover was a wonderful professor. Very caring and respectful to students. I found the course well laid out and fair. The tests were MC and short answer with the choice on which short answer you wanted to choose. Good course and professor.

My favourite professor at MUN! His lectures are moderately detailed, but he says important things out loud as well, so it is important to attend lectures. He is very funny and extremely helpful if you ask for it. He genuinely wants everyone to do well in his course. I went on to take a second course with him!

Amazing prof! He is extremely nice, loves questions, and always has his door open for anyone who has inquiries outside of class. He is a funny prof and always makes the material fun by throwing in stories and other things! Easy/fair exams too! You always know what to expect for the M.Cs and the essays. He recognizes hard work and rewards it. 10/10!

Amazing professor! He did an excellent job at clarifying the text material and was extremely helpful when you had questions. He definitely stimulated interest in the topic and truly cared about how his students did. Would recommend him to anyone!

I've had him for 3050/4051 and he is extremely helpful and approachable. Extremely nice. He looks for very specific things when he marks. He replies to emails quickly. His courses were challenging but interesting. He also posts his notes online. He is also nice to look at.

Always prepared and willing to answer any questions which may arise. However, his marking scheme needs some adjusting or he needs to attempt to have some involvement with the marking. The TA who is never present(or even introduced to the class)marks on a scale completely different from what students are told the marking scheme will be.

He's a great teacher.. i've decided my major will be psych because of him. He makes everything interesting and makes it easily relatable to everyday things. deff one of the best teachers i've had.
