I just did both of Jane's summer classes and both were excellent. She said this was her last quarter. I hope not...she's amazing. Evergreen will lose one of their best instructors. Her classes are intresting, highly engaging and go by so fast because of all the activities. Highly recommend any class from her!

Everyone knows Jane is one of Evergreen's best instructors. Everytime I tried to register for her class it was full. I got to take both of her classes this summer and they both were excellent. She make learning fun and the weekends went by so fast becase of all the activities. If you get a chance to get in her class, DO IT! You wont regret it!!!

I really liked this class. Intensive weekend format worked great for me--I liked the chance to spend time woth my classmates talking about issues that really matter. This class is good for those with experience in criminal justice, but I think pretty much anyone could attend and get along just fine. Recommend this class to others--definitely!

Comment:

Nature v. Nurture class was excellent. Went by so fast because she uses a bunch of different activities and teaching styles to get her point across--doesn't even need to lecture. Show up at first class if its full, she'll let you in. Highly recommend this class or any other from this instructor!

Very easygoing. Doesn't really require attendance. All the work is handed in at the last class. She's very nice, very easygoing and helpful. Her class is fantastic. Even if the waitlist is full, SHOW UP TO THE CLASS. This quarter she let in EVERYONE who showed up to the first class, regardless of whether they were even on the waitlist. :D

Flexible. She is positive in her evaluations and caring in class. In her weekend-long summer classes, she is sensitive to students and gives frequent breaks to relieve tiredness. She prepares much beforehand, which is different than many instructors. I recommend her summer classes. No writing.
