Comment:

Terrible teacher. He gives everyone the same grade in the class for the research project, which he divides up the work for unevenly. He gives absolutely no direction on this, and when asked in class for more, he says that he will talk more about it later (which he never does). Boring and dry lectures, avoid if possible.

Comment:

Incredibly boring and inconsiderate teacher. He was rude to the class and his TA. Tests were a complete joke and often had little to do with lectures. His experiences in the field are outdated (he was in radio) so he has trouble relating to the modern world of communications. He uses an expensive textbook from 1989 to teach.

Such a boring old guy. His lectures are short but so boring and scripted. His TA when I had him was completely useless. He yelled at students for coming in 3 minutes late on the first day of class!?! WTF? His tests are lame and the book is from 1980s yet it cost $90 then you cant even return it. This teacher blows and so does his class. Avoid if p

He teaching style is uninteresting and really lacks any enthusiasm. It's sort of like listening to someone read off a phone book generally. He has a great deal of knowledge and gives good examples but it's a challenge to stay awake when he is droning on about some random theory...

HE IS THE WORSET TEACHER IN OSU. I REALLY RECOMMEND STUDENTS TO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS CLASSES ESPECIALLY IF HE IS TEACHING RESEARCH COURSES.

He seems gruff and like he doesn't care about students in the beginning. It turns out he is a very nice man with a great sense of humor. Class isn't that easy which is good for the communication major. Keeps class periods short but offers a ton of good information. He knows what hes talking about.

Seems grumpy at times, but you really come to understand him as a person and how genuine he is. He has a funny sense of humor once you get used to it. His bark is worse than his bite. I think he is fair.
