Professor Halldane is a terrific teacher and offers a great deal of knowledge in both math and in life. I strongly suggest his course to all students. It was a great pleasure to have Professor Halldane as a teacher.

This has been a nightmare! He does the math problem in his head! He doesn't explain the steps. He teaches advanced math not whats in the course. And he doesn't give out homework to practice for those of us who Really Need Homework not good.

Mr. Halldane is a pretty good teacher. His tests are somewhat straight forward, but at times they are very confusing. I liked his humor, but his lectures can get off topic. I think that Halldane is a good teacher, but there is room for improvement.BUT what i loved about this class is that its easy to get a good grade, which is why to take him

BEWARE!!!!! If you want to pass Math 401, well don't take it with this teacher. He doesn't really use the book but for reference purpose only. What he is teaching is really algebra 410 and higher and not medical math. You have been warned!!!!

He is undoubtly a genius (intelligent), however, not a good math teacher for this level. If you are interested in just passing the class without learning much, then yes, take this class. If you are going further and really need to know the subject, don't . You will work a little harder with another teacher, but will know and get your money's worth.

Hes the greatest ever. I just wanted to scoop him up and take him home. Hes so smart and has done so many things you feel blessed just to be in the same room with him. He makes it imposible to fail. You will be a better person after taking his class. He seems scary at first but dont drop you will only benifit from his unique teaching style.

This man is one of the brightest minds in the universe, he just shouldn't be teaching math. He seems to be a time traveler from the distant future looking for his understudy in 2357 wormhole energy extractions. I fail his requirements. Take this one only if you feel you were born in the wrong century.

He is sweet and looks like a grandpa, but his teaching is horrible!!! I learned nothing, yet I got an A. So, if your goal is put in a lot of time and be more confused than when you started, but get a good grade.....this is the class for you! Any time I asked a question, he would say, "You should already know that".

Let's just put it this way: If you just need this class to get into Math 25, take him. The Saturday classes are so long and boring and he rambles a lot. His teaching method is a little off but he does give test upgrades. I'll be taking him for Math 25 if he teaches it next semester!

I felt that this teacher completely went off topic during his lectures. He has no structure when it comes to teaching math. his entire tests are word problems, written, and only consist of about 12 problems. It's a math 420 calss, not statistics. He cu

I've had Professor Halldane since Math 410 and if it wasn't for him, I would be screwed. He is a very dedicated teacher and always ensures his students' success; if you put the time in. Yes, its a Saturday class and it does drag. Other than that, if you are math dumb, take him, because its worth it!

Very well versed in applied mathematics. I wish this is the way they taught Algebra everywhere! The only drawback to learning is trying to read his comments on your graded tests, but he more than makes up for this with his tutorials.
