As a freshman, her class was very helpful. we did activities that opened our minds to different ideas. The research was a nice project and she helps you even step of the way. I feel like she really goes out of her way to help you understand.

Versluis..very boring class. I fell asleep every class. I hated all the assignments. && let's be honest..who actually interviewed anyone? My entire paper & sources were complete BULLSHIT. and she fell for it smh lol..Although, she was a very nice lady. Her class and assignments just made me want to kill myself just thinkin about the class.

Its Not a Hard Class. I thought she was a good teacher and was also very helpful. We wrote about 6 short papers and 3 long ones and then for the final(which is 50% of your grade) we had to revise two of the long papers we wrote. To get an A in class, go to class, do all assignment, give a good effort when writing and follow the syllabus.

This class was horrible joy is extremely boring and can make even intresting subjects seem greuling. I am not one to complain about work but she will give you a tedious asignment every night. Her lectures irrelevent to say the lest and is not willing to work with you do not take this professor!

What a horrible teacher. Give bad assignments and talks about nothing and thinks she is making sense. One little missing thing and you get a bad grade cut. When 2/3rds of your class in failing, its not bad students, its bad teaching. Annoying, Annoying, ANNOYING!!!!!!

4 THE SAKE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY, RUN 4 YOUR LIFE!Class itself is fairly easy, u do ur work (anything will suffice, she grades crap = to brilliance)& ur fine, but unless u enjoy being belittled or suicidally BORED, I'd avoid her like the plague.Insensitivity & rehashing PRESCHOOL are her fetishes, so get out the gluestick & be ready 4 a LONG semester!

Joy is a nice woman, but not a great professor. She is an easy grader and babies everyone in the class. I felt like I was in kindergarten at times. She is also really religious and talks about it all the time which gets annoying to those who aren't religious! Overall easy class, not so great Prof.

She's very nice, but slightly unorganized. She really likes breaking the class up into small groups in the already small class. Make sure you read everything she assigns you because she'll make you relate it to the essay you're writing, and you'll talk about it in class over and over. She means well and tries to make what you're doing seem fun.

She is an okay professor. I had her on a 3-hour block on Friday so this might be the reason I thought she was boring. Small class, breaks class down into small group for discussions most of the time.
