Plz, be aware of this prof. Simply just don't take her class!!! She can simply give u bad marks just because she doesn't like u. PLUS she doesn't give any helpful advice, she will just straight forward fail you.

I remember her for how absolute garbage she was at teaching. Literally would mark you down for it naming a file correctly and would make fun of your work instead of critiquing it in a professional manner. She was the worst teacher I have ever had in my life and she is the reason why I gave up pursuing film.

Kathleen has proved to be one of my biggest inspirations throughout my undergrad. If you show that you are interested in film and photo she will work with you to develop your skills. She is tough to impress and make critiques hard for everyone but they move much faster then any other crits I've gone through. No excuses or bull, only solutions

bunch of whiners. I found her class to be very interesting. It's a no-brainer that u have to come to class prepared and ask if ur stuck. i had a blast learning the film prod process. She's very knowledgeable in her area if u know how to ask questions. If ur already interested in filming, its a great class. also the tests rn't hard! study.. DUH!

This is the epitome of someone who couldn't hack it in the industry and became a "teacher". Clearly jealous of students whose skills in video editing, framing, and production surpass her own. Doesn't enforce rules on assignments and lets devious students usurp her guidelines by cheating with DSLR video cams and fancy editing effects done by others!

Sit, listen, and you'll learn quite a bit from Kathleen. She has plenty of experience behind her. She may come off as harsh, but she doesn't ask a whole lot from her students other than to work hard and have a little respect during lecture. If you like film and photo, she has a lot to offer. If you're looking for a bird course, look elsewhere.

These classes are university level using college facilities. Do your readings and pull your weight in groupwork and you'll do well. The digital media courses are not for those who think they're going to breeze through. Was NOT impressed at ALL. Tests are overly difficult- it's all regurgitation of itty bitty fact- you learn NOTHING worthwhile. I've heard she plays favourites and wouldn't be surprised if that's true. Avoid her classes at ALL costs.
