Fun class, you learn how to speak the language, not just get the just, she is very friendly and helpful, extremely knowledgeable... I believe she retired, but the class was one of the best I've had!

Her class is definitely not without nightly homework and daily quizzes, but you go to college to learn, right? She is a good teacher, though like someone else said, she can be a little testy. I'm not trying to discount her though. I would take her class again.

This class is way easy, but I took three years in high school. I really like Yocom, but she can be testy. Definitely does not play favorites, but she won't be nice if you don't know what you're doing and don't ask for help. Quiz daily, homework nightly. Nice and helpful, but only to a point because the class moves quickly. Many dropped early on.

Very helpful. The class is very rigorous. A lot of memorization and a vocabulary quiz everyday. Great lady!

The class was very large (40 students) but Yocom still took time with me outside of class to make sure I was doing all right with the work and when I had some problems getting to class she noticed and contacted me to make sure it was all right. That really made a difference.

Mrs. Yocom is awesome :) Her classes are challenging but she's very good at explaining things to you until she knows you have it down. She's very very helpful! Take her if you can :)
