Wow, so I'm a Psychology major and need this class to take anything within my major. Toughest class of the semester... Syllabus all screwy and confusing because it's literally copy paste from another professor, confusing grade scale, confusing textbook, confused professor, hardly lectures. This class should be online only! Take the other professor!

Her lectures are straight forward and she tells you exactly what she expects from you and how to do it. Don't be afraid to ask her to slow down and/or clarify. She really is a sweetheart, she's just very serious Ms reserved. I love Dr. Rueckert!

Dr. Rueckert is a good teacher. She explains the material in a succinct and organized way so that it is very clear (talking about Psych 302). If you do your job, you'd be just fine. People, who's saying she is dry might be right, but as for me, the stats and research method class is not supposed to be entertaining.

accelerated speaker, so don't get distracted or you won't understand a thing. Make sure you sit in front (if the room has a chalkboard). When she writes, it looks like she's writing with invisible chalk. She loves to give the same grade for each assignment, regardless if you do great on one or not. Overall, she's nice but shouldn't be a professor

She is one of the best teachers here at NEIU. If you're dumb don't take her class because she is going to challenge you as a student and expects you to learn your material. p.s. she is hot in her own way! ;-)

ABSOLUTELY BORING!!! Worst class I have taken in my college life. Is SO DRY and BLAND, covers material too fast, not very thorough, not willing to work with students with difficult circumstances, seems more concerned with making the course difficult than helping

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rueckert. Very knowledgeable and accessible. She is also very supportive of student endeavors. I am not a degree seeking student, but I was able to run study with her oversight. This was very helpful to me, as I will be applying to grad school and wanted to have some research experience on my application.

WOW, she goes really fast and seems boring but with all the info she gives class seems to fly by. Once you get her ways of teaching it becomes easier. Open book/note tests and an APA style paper

She goes through the topics and has a lot to say about all of them. Social Neuroscience is what I took. The tests are on the articles we read and our class discussions and info from the lectures (this is most of the exam). Short answer quizzes, (need to study notes), final paper & presentation = (most of grade), but quizzes are diff. between A&B

She's extremely intelligent: a walking encyclopedia, she knows so much and would like to share all her wisdom with the class or anyone willing to listem. She also is very caring and will do all in her power to help students succeed. She looks tough but really has a heart of gold. Respect her, take & study notes, be responsive, read and study

very organized and sticks to schedule. she switches between overhead sheets and it gets kind of confusing. she will put up an outline, wait for us to copy it all, and she will take it down and say we'll use a different outline today. would be easier on powerpoint.

The class lectures were okay, not overly entertaining. The homeowrk was interesting and there was very little of it. The tests were a disappointment because she only had 25 questions on a test that covers 3 chapters, so you waste a lot of time studying. Do the book's practice tests online because many questions come from there.

Dr. Reuckert is very well learned in her subject but she can't teach it well. It is very difficult to understand her; and to add to that, she rushes with her material so it's difficult to keep up. I think she should teach SRM 1 and professor Fortmann should teach SRM 2; she'd be better at it.
