If you want a class where you literally play a card game for a class, this is it. Mantini's Contract Bridge class was super fun! She did her best given that the class was moved completely online. Sometimes the assignment handouts were tough to read through, but the class was an easy A as long as you stay involved

I took Dr. Mantinis origami honors add-on, and I can say it was one of the most fun classes Ive taken. You, quite literally, fold paper for a grade. You make very interesting and cool origami. I looked forward to her class every week as I found it very relaxing compared to my other classes.

Dr. Mantini is easily the most respected professor on campus. She is an incredible instructor and does her very best to help her students succeed. The class itself is a very difficult one, but she really loves math and cares deeply about her students so I would definitely take a class with her again.

Excellent Instructor. Review sheets are good preps for exams. Very helpful in office hours. She does move pretty quickly through the material but if you speak up when you get lost she is more than happy to slow down and explain anything again. Only gripe is she is often slow in returning tests or posting grades.

By far the best math teacher I have ever had. She is very clear when explaining topics and is always willing to help. As long as you keep up with the homework, study for the exams, and go to office hours when you need help, you'll do well. She also gives extra credit. I would definitely recommend her.

She is by far the best teacher in the math department at OSU. If you have the chance to take her do it. She gives some extra credit and her tests are really easy if you know even a little bit about what you're doing. She is really nice and helpful too. Plus, she learns students names so you can tell she really cares

The class wasn't hard if you paid attention. She didn't give out a lot of extra credit and your grade is very test dependable. She did NOT give enough time to study for finals and exams and was always late putting up reviews or covering new material for assignments. Biggest flaw and peeve.

I enjoy math, but Calculus 3 is a lot of vectors so it takes some study. The professor reminds me of a high school teacher that wants to fail students that she thinks aren't trying. Do your homework, make sure you understand what is going on in class, and ask questions if you don't understand something. Overall, a good prof.

She is by far the best teacher that I have had in the math department. She is available for office hours and teaches subject matter in a way that is easy to understand. For intro to analysis she uses a different book then others and it is fabulous plus she didnt expect our modern algebra class to stick since it was super hard with Jaco.

Do not believe the comments that are posted on here since most of them are a few years old. Mantini definitely teaches the subject well and if you are nice to her she will be nice back. Gave out loads of extra credit and gave us exam reviews on D2L that were always helpful. Can be mean but only if you act dumb or don't treat her with respect.

All these reviews say that she is not very good, but let me tell you she is. I took her for differential equations and while the class was hard, I learned alot. Very interesting teacher though she does move through the material quickly. EXTREMELY knowledgeable of the subject. Weekly homework of ~20 problems of which like 5 are graded

Took the AP Calc-AB exam my junior year of high school and got a 4. My advisor recommended taking this class again in college and I did, receiving a C. Granted, it was an honors course, but she expects you to know the material before she teaches it and does not teach problems on the tests. Disinterest in helping students and just plain weird.
