Comment:

I would not take her class again or any of her lectures. I began to fall behind a little bit but she didn't want to work things out so that I could turn in the assignments later and still continue learning. COVID hit all of us hard, I wish some people could be more understanding and work with students.

Comment:

I decided to take Prof Lee's M16A class over the summer for 4 weeks. You have 2 or 3 lessons a day and then after the lectures you have an open book quiz on the sections you were just taught. If you like a teacher to explain every step, then Lee might not be the right teacher but if you enjoy a teacher who teaches by doing problems then take her!

lecture starts on time, be ready to write fast or take pictures. After the lecture, there is a quiz (5-10 problems). Turn in your quiz she will then correct it on the spot if correct 10 points if not go back and fix the problems. Turn in each quiz, and turn in your homework. Hwk is due on the day of the test (13 sections).

Comment:

This class is pretty hard. There are 4 major tests that are 100 pts each as well as a 200 point final. You have to do a 10 point "Quiz" after each lecture but you can use notes and partners. As well as you have to turn in a crap ton of book work every test. You cannot understand her and she talks very quietly and to the board. Do not recommend.

She is very nice most of the time but if you ask a question she gets annoyed. If you are not good at math don't take her. She gives quizzes everyday and she give extra credit for tests. When you do ask a questions she won't answer it she just repeats what she just said. Show up to class to get quiz points and do the homework.

lecture, quiz (stay until your answers are correct/ok to work with others ) then you get hm wk points. Homework due on the day of each test (5 tests total). Final is a few questions from each section. Take good notes you need them for the quiz. Go to the tutoring center for detailed help. Very punctual so do not be late! Great teacher.

Comment:

Mee Lee is an AMAZING teacher!!! I can not stress this enough! Her grading system is so easy there is no reason for you not to pass. If you do test reviews in class you get 10 points extra credit on the test. You are given about 2 weeks to do homework. Quizzes at the end of class lets you redo until you get right answer. Take Ms. Lee!!

Comment:

I took Mee Lee because of her great reviews, but I learned fast that the reviews are not accurate. She teaches the simplest form of the problem and on the test, she uses the hardest ones possible. If you're not strong in math, I really discourage you from taking calculus with Mee Lee. Nice lady, but does not teach accurately.

Prof Lee was great. Calculus can be a difficult course to learn, but Lee was able to pace the class in a way that managed to feel neither overwhelming or underwhelming. If you have questions, she doesn't hesitate to help you. She's also incredibly nice as a person. Would definitely recommend. Do the homework, even though it's optional.

Mee Lee is a very knowledgeable and nice, but she may seem like a rough Prof at first. However, She teaches the student exactly what is going to be on the test, just know the review sheet and you will be fine. She offers extra credit before each test, for summer it was 10 points added to test score. Also, open note/partner quizzes each day.

Professor Lee was great. She's always willing to help and even gives extra credit if you show up for her reviews. She has quizzes after every class and allows students to work with one another. Her tests are a little tricky but if you study you'll be fine. She's sort of quiet though so I suggest sitting near the front to hear.

Loved this teacher! Teaches everything you need to know and will explain if you ask. Every class has an extra credit quiz which are about the lecture taught that day. You can help each other out in the quizzes too! Study guides are given, everything you need o know is in those study guides so study those and you will pass with no effort! :)

Took her a year ago. Infact had her twice. 2nd best math teacher ive had. At first was unsure because little hard understand. But hang in there, it gets easier to understand her. Cares about students and will answer any questions. Lots of homework, but all math classes have lots of homework.

Took her for Intermediate Algebra. Yes, a little difficult to understand but by far one of the best math teachers I've had. She definitely knows what she's talking about and is very organized. Extra credit is given before each test, study guides as well, drops 3 quiz scores. Would definitely take again

She is kind of difficult to understand and goes at a fast pace but the class is pretty easy. All of the quizzes are open book and u can talk to people on each quiz. Gives a lot of homework but its not worth many points. All the problems on the study guide is the same type of problem on the test. Gives out a lot of extra credit which really helps.

At first I was concerned because I couldn't really understand her accent, but I realized how easy of a teacher she was, and is very thorough. I ended up really liking her class and I definitely want to take another class by her! Gives you tons of extra credit and the tests are exactly like her study guides!!!

There are 4 tests plus the final, homework is also assigned for credit. There are also reviews before each test that are done for extra credit. The point total for extra credit is 50 and the homework is 50 more points. There are also 23 quizzes that are given and she drops the 3 lowest quiz scores. There are no test scores dropped anymore. 65%C!

Her goal is definitely for you to succeed. Before every test she offers bonus points that boost up your test score. She definitely knows her stuff, she provides clear notes for each lecture and allows an extra day for homework turn in with full credit. Take good notes and do the homework and extra credit and it's an easy A.

This is a good class for someone that is comfortable in math and who is able to teach themselves from the book. Very sweet lady, but hard to understand and does not explain the mechanics behind the math. Review sheets that she passes out help but expect tough questions on the actual test.

You can skip 4 classes. Sweet lady. TONS of homework (worth points)! drops one test grade. i couldnt understand her lectures because of her accent, so i had to spend a lot of time in the math lab, but her study guides are helpful and she is an easy grader! easy A in this class! One of the easiest math teachers (moorpark's math teachers suck though)
