Be prepared to read in this class. Make sure you know the textbook pages by heart. Only a few tests were given during this class with no other grades. If you do poorly on the tests, there is no other way to bring your grade up. I would not recommend this class to anyone who is not a good test taker.

This professor is absolutely horrible. He does nothin but read off his crappy PowerPoints. If we didnt have iclicker questions, I wouldnt go. I could read the PowerPoints from my room and get the same grade. Hes completely useless. It is almost impossible to study for his tests because his lecture contradicted the textbook he told us to use.

Horrible professor. Speaks so quietly and doesn't add anything to his lecture slides. Tests are very hard and advertised as "out of the book" when really barely any of the questions are from the book. Only got a B because of his weird curve that he makes for the end of the year because he wants to save his class average from being a 65

Anatomy is a memorization heavy class with Denbow. He throws a lot of material at you and expects you to be able to do multiple choice, true/false, and fill in the blank on tests and weekly quizzes. He can be difficult to hear in class, but he tries. I took notes on the slides and then copied onto paper to make better sense of the material.

He said on the first day that he would never test us on anything that he didn't say in class. First exam was straight from lecture, like he said all the exams would be. However, the rest of the exams had material that he never talked about. Exams are same every semester. Flashcards are a necessity. Helpful, but there's often a touch of annoyance.

Dr. Denbow is a good professor, but there is a lot material in this class that makes it very difficult and he's soft spoken. He always encourages questions. The final is not cumulative. There is a weekly quiz in lecture and lab. The lab is combined with lecture, which will help raise your grade. There are 3 lab praticals as well. He didn't curve.

He makes the material needless difficult to understand. I've never been in a class where so many kids just straight up didn't grasp the concepts. He seems nice enough and he tries to clarify things but honestly I found wikipedia more helpful than him.

I like this class but I don't like Dr. Denbow. He talks so quietly in class you can't even hear him most of the time and he pretends to be nice and then screws you over on your grades.

he is so nice and he gives extra credit just for going to class and the final is not cumulative... pretty much it was the best and challenging bio course I have taken

Dr. Denbow's Anatomy & Physiology class was hard, but very interesting. If you attend the class and keep up with the reading you should do well.

I had him for Principles of Biology. tests are close to impossible to do well on. I read before every class, and go to every class, and study for tests in advance and did miserably on them. He's a nice guy, but skipped a lot of classes, and i think that really hurt my grade.

I loved Chinese Medicine with him. He is incredibly knowledgable. I would recomend anyone with an interest in medicine to take this class before graduation. It is absolutely fascinating and will open your mind to a world of new ideas. Very inteligent and humble man. Love him to death.
