Comment:

Records voice and white board for Blackboard. Very helpful in class and outside. You use python and make a few programs. If you submit the programs on time you get an "A". 2 short papers but otherwise no homework. Program in class. Doesn't move on until he feels everyone can finish their program. Very funny and is treats students with respect.

Mike is a great guy, I just would not recommend him as a teacher. The class is more-so self taught which means you can stay/show up if you want. Our lectures are online, and no one watches those so you will struggle in the class. He really does not teach - literally, we show up for 5 minutes and leave. Tests are hard, because you teach yourself.

I was a senior BACS student so I took this class as an easy A. That it was almost to easy. Not a bad class but if you can't stand being taught like your in middle school than don't take it because he teaches painfully slow. When he lectures it is like listening to Ben Stein at times. That being said fairly good teacher and easy A with medium effort

I had Mike for Calc 1, and he is a pretty good teacher for sure. He know the stuff and you can go see him anytime and he is willing to help. Even has skype office hours at night. He is very dedicated to helping kids succeed. I would recommend him for any class!

really nice guy, very dry sense of humor but he's so goofy you can't help but laugh. really easy as long as you do the work most of it is a completion grade, very helpful and explains things very well, i would definfitly take another class of his again.

AMAZING professor. I will take any class he has to offer. Entertaining, precise, hilarious, relatable. I have taken him for three classes and I'm still a freshman. You will do fabulous in his class as long as you show him you're working hard. He will dedicate as much time as you need for you, as long as it isn't all at once the day before the exam.

Excellent use of humor. But, takes attendence, gives difficult exams, allocates too little time for exams, and believes in group mathematica labs. However, the Friday quizes are excellent and the labs aren't too difficult.
