Heavy accent but he's such a nice guy. He is not very coherent in his explaining but he's very tolerant to and enjoys being asked s***loads of questions. So, if you don't get something in his class. Ask, ask and ask. He grades easily too

He is super nice and kind of funny, once you get use to his accent. I LOVED math, especially calc, but after taking this class, I am SUPER confused. I mean, what kind of prof says, "just guess and check" on a daily basis?? When you ask him questions, he doesn't help. I feel like I guessed on the entire final. It seriously sucks. He doesn't teach!

He's a good guy. Exams and quizzes weren't terrible. Helpful if you go to him. Group quizzes and exams so thats a plus. Pick someone who is good at math. Got an A- and I'm absolutely terrible at math.

Honestly, this guy is really nice. I just had a really hard time with him. I actually really love math, especially Calc, but after taking Calc II with this guy... let's just say I'm no longer a math major. I have absolutely no idea what's going on in class, but when I read the book afterwards, I understand. He should not be an upper level teacher.

If you don't particularily like math, Don't even think about taking this guy. He was easily the worst professor I've ever had. He says his goal is to make you cry when you do his homework and his tests and quizzes are impossible.

Hard to understand. Class is easy if you understand math. He gives review sheets for every quiz and the quizzes ARE EXACTLY THE SAME with different numbers. Go to class. Not helpful at all with questions, go somewhere else for help.

In my opinion, frof.Elgindi is a fair choice. His classes're sometimes boring as he rockets through materials. You should have some basic knowledge of calculus, and especially pay attention on his review sheets. He is quite helpful so dont be hesitate to ask. I got an A for this class, and these are my advises! Good luck guys :D

I ended up getting a B+ in this class, but it wasn't because of lack of effort. Elgindi is hands down the absolute worst teacher I have had in three years here at Eau Claire. He speeds through his notes, not once pausing for students to write them down. The math lab taught half of my class everything we needed to know. Good guy...God awful teacher.

I took calculus in high school but didn't pass the AP exam so I had to take it again here, and I think if I hadn't taken it in HS, I would be failing because he doesn't go over material very well. He gave a ton of extra credit because everyone was failing. bad sign? yes. if you aren't good at math, i suggest not taking him.

AVOID. He makes stupid wise cracks, and doesn't cover the material very well. He just places everything on an overhead has the class write it down for an hour, and class is over. It's all or nothing for exam questions there is no partial credit. I'm usually very good at math and have never gotten below a B and i'm getting a D currently. AVOID

Some body must be stupid or lazy to tell this class is difficult. I am taking Elgindi's class now, it's super easy, say, you just need to do the review sheets he gives every week. Boom, you'll get an easy A. He'll give total 10 quizzes and 2 exams, and i got A for alls because the quizzes and exams are exactly same with review sheets. Pick him !!!

I am currently taking Math 111 with Elgindi. I am normally very good at Math, attend all the classes and do the homework. The class average for the first test was a 62, which I also got. He DOES NOT curve tests. Half our class is failing, and he has refused to answer questions in class on a couple occasions. He is not as funny as he thinks he is.

Elgindi is a little hard to understand at first, but you get used to his accent really quickly. He loves to tell stories and jokes around quite a bit although his jokes dont always make sense. he gives you samples for all of your quizzes and exams-do them and you'll be fine. overall a great guy :)

He's somewhat hard to understand at first, but you get used to his accent. I've had calculus before and I struggled. His lectures are all over the place. His grading procedure is weird. You don't get partial credit typically, which is odd for a math class. Overall, he's just okay.

Speaks with a very heavy Egyptian accent. Likes to crack corny jokes. Good professor. Tests and quizzes are tough, but the class is tough. Very helpful when u need his help!

Having Math 111 with Elgindi I found his teaching style poor. He's funny, and if you have taken calculus prior to this class you will be fine. However, his lectures are hard to follow, he's difficult to understand, and he rushes the class. If you have to take this course and haven?t had calculus previously, I recommend finding another professor.

I took the winterim class for Trigonometry, Math 113. Funny guy, interesting accent. Doesn't know English that well, and quizzes are rather difficult. His review quizzes help, but he is not very helpful at answering questions. Good teaching style, poor execution. Skips steps when showing the process of a mathmatical problem. Mediocre professor.

You must stay on top of things. the quiz'help and you get to drop 2. Go to Class! If you miss you will regret it. His teaching style I found to be very effective. His test are tough and the final was 30% of your grade and hard. But if you stay on top of things you will be fine.

Excellent prof. Tests and quizzes are tricky, but he gives you a review sheet the day b4 almost the same as the test/quiz itself! You should have no trouble at all. Awesome guy, very smart. Loves to laugh... and jsut remember one saying: party time!
